Winter Wonderland 2017
I think their strategy is related to mid season sign ( they have 6 places free while others teams 0) and with the structure of OWL this will help them on late term....but we have to see how much they can perform well on early term. Mannetten TVIQ and Zebbosai plus Cwoosh dps are important for their flexibility. Their major problem will be logix on others heores different than tracer
He played 3 LANs. OWWC had him with only one other pro on the team, namely Spree, vs UK, Germany and Israel in groups. I seriously don’t know what you expect to happen there, didn’t play bad at all, team was outmatched.
And Takeover is where he actually made his name to the public, played fucking amazing all tournament long.
So yes, he choked once. Might wanna watch the games before spewing nonsense.
World Cup is still a LAN, doesn't matter how many arbitrary restrictions you place on it. Players like Klauss stood out and got recognition when they are in the same boat as Logix. Mickie is another example from the year before. You can do work in World Cup.
Takeover he ghosted through. Admittedly his wasn't as clear cut as his other showings, but I chalk this up to the nature of Takeover. Being a casual environment with no crowd. Which coincidently means fuck all considering no future LAN that matters will be like Takeover.
& Not sure what you're smoking but he got his real recognition with Misfits in Contenders online season. People didn't rate him nearly as high as they did then.
So yes, he's a serial LAN choker. It's nothing surpising, he's young with little exp. He should hopefully iron out those nerves in OWL. As it's LAN every week.
I don't care if World Cup is a LAN or not, having to play against premade teams or just plain better squads is a fact. And I hope you realize the Argentinian squad was playing together before the WC. Also if you think Mickie had a better showing than Logix then there's no point talking about this anymore.
And I can safely say that you didn't watch TakeOver, or at least the Movistar games, cause it actually is where it all 'started' for Logix, that's why Misfits picked him up. I believe you ghosted through it, certainly not him.
I'll give you Contenders but he got handled in the OWWC groups, since he was the only real threat to be taken care of. As for TakeOver2 he wasn't as stellar as he could have been in the playoffs, but he played much better than in Contenders imo.
2 events isn't enough for me to declare him a serial choker but we'll get to see very quickly if he's been able to recover and improve.
I'm so frustrated at these matches' schedule. I can't watch live most of them. I don't think it was fair of Blizzard to place all the matches in the west coast: east coast timezone is more accessible to us European folks, and still acceptable for people from the west coast. I recognize that the timezone favors Korea more, though, which I assume has a wider audience than Europe.
But hey, at least I can watch the VODs FeelsBadMan
It's a given though, the teams are playing in LA, they're not trying to cater to any other region other than NA right now. And let's be real here, the vast majority of viewership would come from NA without even thinking about the actual venue.
Hopefully OWL does well and you get more matches at times more appropriate for you in the coming years.
Just finish watch vods...Manneten played great. Babybay is a beast. Logix underperform on tracer but showed up a great window. Tviq waste many ults imho. But he played a great mccree on Dorado. Also all games were really close. Hype to see more. Nevix is probably the most flexible god players i ever seen. He is a god.
