Mei after WWII walling East Germany off :D
They should just do it like the NFL timingwise, that’s OK for EU.
Mayham 3 - 1 Shock
Negative way? I’m just saying how things were (no competition, ..). I’m not hating on Rogue, I loved seeing them play, plus I think the analogies should be very clear.
So why didn't they keep Whoru, seems like a dumb decision, but then again, they have Esca :D, is he too young?
No Sinatraa, no Space, easy win for Gigantti
Guess that's what's called Murphy's Law
best EU Tracer :D
They should switch 1 American with 1 Swede, so that team is truly international
where's Gamsu?
3-1 would have looked much better :(
This team is like german politicians
Germany looks extremely weak, I think they weren't even training that hard, since they can't beat US, BRA, or TAI anyway.
I knew Sinatraa would play Zarya, they did it very successfully on Selfless, seems like scrims went well
So the second in this group plays Canada in the playoffs, the first plays SK, assuming they win against UK, Germany or Belgium, am I right?
This would mean that Taiwan had to play SK again and also that the 3 best teams would all be in one side of the bracket.
That's my order of teams, from strongest to weakest:
Obviously this can easily change until Blizzcon, but from what we've seen so far (+considering Taiwan and the US play how they are supposed), I think it's pretty accurate.
edit:
I would have put Russia on 5th-6th, as I still think they are better than Canada. Who knows, maybe the US won't make it to playoffs either, Brazil definitely has the potential to upset this group.
Boombox vs. Logix; will be a great match
Hopefully LW Blue will win APEX S5, they could have won S4, but they got very unlucky, remember, they were the first to bring triple support, they were innovative.
I think Canada should focus on playing Pharmercy becauset their chances at Blizzcon will be much higher then.
It's a shame that a team like Australia is in the top 8 and Russia won't be.
C'mon Russia, you are clearly better, shred that Egyptian Bird Cosplay Girl!
So how do the orgs make their money, let's say an org has 12 players, who all get 50,000$ a year, that's 600,000$ total, even if they win the league, at least 500,000$ go to the players, so the org is at -100,000$, plus they have to provide housing.
So even if an org has only 8 players who all get 50,000$ a year (400,000$ total), they win the league and the org makes 500,000$, so they're up 100,000$ -housing costs, but then again, only one org would get this, and most orgs would probably even pay a little bit more than 50,000$ a year.
So how are they able to make this profitable for the teams, do they get money from sponsors, merch, ...?
I mean the spots have already costed huge amounts of money!
South Korea hasn't qualified yet and half of their team still has to play against KDP in APEX Finals, China has alraedy qualified and it's still almost 4 months until Blizzcon.
Why should there be a tie if Sweden 3-1s Australia, they would lead in direct comparison.
Also I think it will be either 3-1, 2-2, or 1-3, so Sweden will advance.
@t-23-11 It's Italy, not Spain, and just because team A beats team B, and team B beats team C, team A doesn't automatically beat team C, it's Overwatch!
3-1 for Sweden, on paper they're good, but they're very shaky, they definitely can't win against China, France, SK, probably not even against Australia, Taiwan, Finland, Canada, USA, maybe against Germany, UK, Russia, Japan and Spain.
If they played to their potential should be able to beat Germany, UK, Russia, Japan, Spain and maybe Australia. It would still be close against Taiwan, Finland, USA Canada and France. China and SK are out of reach.
Envy should bench Cocco and maybe get Gamsu or any other good Korean Winston, plus Mickie also seems weak compared to his teammates. Immortals already did it and they look really scary.
Which team?
