The 1st map was legitimately a throw/choke, two people died to a remeching dva ult when they had all the chances in the world to avoid it.
Almost 100k viewers PogChamp
No one expects the Spanish Insquisition.
Both teams have white healthbars.
One team is white.
One team is light blue.
How the hell am I supposed to tell 2 teams apart? They have both white healthbars.
2000-2500 is THE elo hell, don't fell bad, if you wanna get out of it, try to trio with 1 main tank, 1 mercy and 1 DPS.

Well that clearly didn't go as expected. American players didn't go to sleep. At least we see Cantus' Mercy.
Under the power of Cantus, all American players turn into plats, and the match is moved to midnight. Ez win for Cantus and friends.
Yup I believe he just needs some more practice. If he can land hooks consistently as Roadhog, he surely will be able to land direct hits, so, with more practice to movements and other things, he can be a pretty good Pharah.
harbleu can play Pharah well enough.
sinatra + iddqd?
At least we might take a map or two. :3
Sorry Russia, very unlucky.
Mangachu is the best Pharah in the Universe. There, I said it. Dude has earned it. People were chanting "Mangachu, Mangachu", he should be proud of himself.
This match was lit, English stream peaked at 55k.

Probably another speed run. Will Korea break their own record?
It will be a FeelsGoodMan if it's not a speed run.
An actual speed run LMAO
Well we might be able to take maps from Turkey, so hopefully not a 0-12 this time.
Prolly another 4-0. RIP SEA.
SEA scene is so bad. I am gonna cry in a corner.
They have no experience of playing on a high level of pro scene, so this is understandable. The largest event they have participated in is Overwatch SEA Tournament 2017 which features semi-pro Singaporean and Vietnamese teams with one Thai team that is not Mega Thunder. The Mega Thunder roster (that made up Thailand's national team) competed in OPC against Flash Wolves, ahq, Blank and they did pretty well, Mickie competed against tier 1 Korean teams, so the Thai team have a lot of experience, while the Vietnamese team have never played against a good team before. Team like Argentina probably had better scrim partners. The only good thing that comes out of SEA scene is Mega Thunder, and that team is way above our league that they don't even care to take part in any SEA tournament.
If Vietnam continue to play so passively like yesterday, it will be probably a 4-0 for Japan, and they will advance further (RIP Spain). I don't doubt that Vietnam will try their best to the very last moment, but if they don't change something it will be hard for them. You have seen Japan's aggressive playstyle and it will be a big trouble for the Vietnamese team if they continue to play passively.
It's kinda sad for the SEA scene though because this Vietnamese team wrecked all Singaporean teams recently (like, they 4-0'd them all), and Singapore will be up against Canada and Russia, so, RIP. Thailand please carry us.
There was little coordination going on, no set play, focus fire was bad, yet the team were playing super passively and hoped for some miracle to happen. They tried to poke the choke with a dive comp against Reinhardt, of all things. If they want to put up a fight, they need to change their playstyle all the way, be aggressive. It's kind of sad to see the SEA scene falling sooooo far behind compared to the rest of the world. Thailand is our only hope now.
If I am not mistaken Graceful is Thai by origin, so he will probably be the translator (or they will hire a dedicated translator) when they are training and discussing strategy outside of matches. In game they will only have to make callouts. Things like "genji low" are easy to learn.
*they are
Wow, Mega Thunder is building a world class team. Australia, beware, you are going to have a real contender in the SEA-Oceanic scene.
People don't care that much about where the players come from. Take a look at your own Premier League. Like, seriously, how many players in Chelsea (London-based football club) are even from England? And I am pretty sure no one there comes from London.
Dude, I have been staying up late to watch Premier League and Champions League for more than 10 years.
It has been that way for people in SEA and East Asia since forever, yet Premier League and Champions League are still big things for us over here. As long as they play in the afternoon on weekend, you guys in Western Europe will manage.
Miami Misfits. The name sounds really amazing.
LA Immortals. Sounds good as well.
San Francisco NRG. They might want to rename the team Kappa. The name sucks.
I wonder if Noah Winston actually saw that coming from years ago when he founded Immortals. If it's the case, dude's a legend.
