I feel like this is some sort of high IQ troll/meme that is just flying over my head. Can someone help me get it?
From an interview with their coach, main Chinese with some English for now with an emphasis of no Korean, transitioning to Chinese only - https://twitter.com/tisrobin311/status/982627944555151360
Yea the map and rosters are incorrect.
It's actually hilarious how trash it is. Some people at blizz and twitch royally fucked this up. Could have been so good, I think it's ridiculous to pay for something simple as this... and yet I would have shelled out too if it actually was what it advertised itself to be.
I've seen sbb leave just because he got lunar horizon and didn't want to play 2cp. Least it's not affecting the teammates if you leave early enough to cancel match.
So I assume we're gonna see a "LFT tier 1 OW player DMs open" tweet from grim tomorrow?
Lol? You can't just write Widowmaker: Amélie and then change the e to an a
Further, imagine dropping out of medschool against your parents wishes just to watch KariV take your DPS slot
I think more of a L team than W
Don't think any team would really want iddqd though. Just listing through the teams, he wouldn't really fill a missing role on any of them.
Edit: Maybe Florida? But I believe tviq and iddqd have some bad blood between them or something like that?
Florida as well, and if not counting coaches then Houston too.
tank main retiring for a cod/cs hybrid fps right as tank meta comes back?
I'm looking for something to top https://twitter.com/df_taimou/status/915408159832985600
Kephri gonna lose his shit LUL
Don't forget about the 3d chess of preventing other teams from picking up AKM. Fuel have a lot of money, if Taimou wants to bench himself so they can play AKM and keep him off the roster of another team it is probably worth it. Not like this has to be their only pickup, I'm sure they're also looking into another main tank or offtank to pick up.
Love how the article has Muma's stream response, and update with Blizzard's penalty but no mention of xQc's twitter apology to Muma, and Muma's acceptance of it saying no hard feelings. Great journalism /s
LUL he said on his stream that it was already planned that he won't be playing tonight anyways, RIP DF PR
Ouch they'd rather have babybay on tracer with danteh's genji then playing iddqd.
Interesting that he is too sick to practice with teammates but not too sick to stream 5-7 hours pretty much everyday for the past 2 weeks.
Is Blizz really not streaming open division playoffs?
Maybe not directly on Blizzard but it definitely reflects very poorly on Dallas Fuel although from what I saw in another clip xQc said something along the lines of "Kyky is DMing me non-stop but I'm going to ignore it" so maybe he is just really out of control.
lol wtf happened here?
Wait wtf ZP isn't in OWL? He's by far best caster out of all the casters so far imo. He MADE the monthly melees what they were from his casting with Hex. How could he possibly not be in it?
Looks like Birdring exposed Danteh instead
Damn in terms of attendance it looks way more empty so far than the last 2 days. Looks like less than 100 people in the audience.
Try incognito mode or disable adblock
Interesting that they're giving him what seems like lesser of a punishment than Dafran. Sounds like he even gets to coast on that min50k salary while suspended from these matches?
you're just asking to get meme'd on now man
The reason he got a 3day ban is because this isn't his first ban, he was previously banned for 24hr for abusive chat in team voice comm. Maybe this action itself only warranted a 1day ban but the way their system works if you were already banned once for 24hr, next one is 72hr.
By far the best team name yet imo. Can't wait to see The Outlaws in action. flame's tweets are a bit of a headscratcher though considering in the end everything that was said turned out to be true. I guess he was trying to preserve the hype, but his comments didn't really bring the hype back and now just look silly.
How do they end with that question without doing a followup question, the production is pretty terrible sometimes.
Interesting, there were a lot of people expecting a large increase in viewer count for the final, saying it will be over 50k... but so far it's actually been significantly lower than yesterday, hovering around just 25k even with seagull playing. Thats really poor viewership when seagull's own stream pulls in 25k viewers.
The viewer spike was a lot less than I expected tbh. Was at 26k for EU, now at 39k for NA. Thought it would at least hit 50k.
Yea I noticed since the new site update last week that it removed the non featured streams.
I think all the contenders teams have been bootcamping for the past week so they aren't really streaming.
Then they shouldn't have queued at the same time. And the others were affected, their time was wasted.
Did I somehow miss Seagull getting signed to optic gaming or is this just a meme? Seagull's channel has a command: !opticgull which links to http://i.imgur.com/hl8DynT.png Looks like just a meme but anyone know how long that's been there?
In addition, he then made a reddit thread and tweet bragging about being the #1 rank player NA and best Mercy in the game.
Your efforts are admirable haHAA but it just annoys me even more actually how much the community works to prop up the competitive scene, meanwhile Blizzard just wants to cash out with their multi million OWL slots while giving absolute minimum effort to support community.
This contenders streaming from Blizzard is the biggest joke in e-sports right now.
Hey guys, just wanted to post and ask if anyone else has noticed any really weird SR gains? Besides the usual one trick mains climbing high I've noticed some just completely bizare cases:
Had a soldier main on our team doing his last placement(not totally relevant to this but he was playing pretty bad) His previous season he ended on 3050, with a season high of 3150. So far he was at 3 wins, 6 losses in placements. After we lost the game imagine my surprise to see a masters icon below his name! Placed at 3512 with a record of 3-7 in placements, that's almost 500 points higher than his previous season final and 350 over his high.
How is this even possible? Surely this must go beyond the Blizzard's SR algorithm and there must be some bug which is giving wrong amounts of SR? Anyone else encounter anything like this where the SR just makes no sense at all?
Waiting through an hour of delays to watch the world cup team meme is hardly entertaining.
ster and kaplan are looking like real idiots right now with their analysis thinking Canada is tryharding.
So committee members weren't supposed to be able to select themselves for the team right? How is Mangachu both a committee member and player for team Canada? Seems especially weird since his role seems to be DVA which he doesn't really play at all while train plays DVA for LG Evil and looks like he would have been a much better pick.
lmfao the way they just list out the team Canada roster, no fucks given.
This channel it's being streamed on are masters of removing hype.
