He has, but his genji and pharah haven't been the world class level that they need, and you know you're getting at least the pharah for sure, along with the hitscan.

Even though AKM has undeniable skill, I feel that Effect can play AKM's hero-pool at similar level. The only difference being Effect can also play Tracer.

preetty sure they are stacking up already for the new meta once mercy is dumpstered.
effects zarya is still nutty if we should get back to tripple tank soldier at one point.

AKM has an incredible Pharah, and has said he is grinding genji, also the overlap in hero pool would allow effect to play tracer more, something that Dallas should look to get back to.

I don't really base my opinion on 1 game, I wanna see people consistently shine on a certain hero, and imo that's not the case with AKM on Pharah.

Pretty sure they are trying to replace Taimou since he's underperforming lately and Seagull is a Junk/Pharah god but average on genji/soldier

exactly. Now you can keep effect on Tracer full time and AKM can play everything that Taimou and Seagull can't. Taimou can't play Pharah or Genji and Seagull can't play widow soldier or Mcree. AKM plays all 5. He's like a Fleta or a Babybay.

For the same reasons they dind't end up having him for the beginning of the season?

He had trials for them and "didn't work" (he doesn't want to be benched, they already have 3 DPS players, etc...), of course things have changed and I'll only be happy to be proven wrong.

Well with Tiamou and Seagull underpreforming on basically all of aKm's hero's it makes sense that now they could guarentee him more playing time.

it could be a good decision. but dallas has taimou who specializes in AKM's hero pool. and AKM could also probably fit into a higher tier team.

As much as I like AKM and as much as he deserves a place in OWL, this seems like another questionable acquisition for DF unless there is more than is being spoken about in regards to Taimou.

I think taimou will move to a sub role, potentially focus on becoming a specialist on 1 or 2 heros, with AKM being a starter alongside effect

Don't forget about the 3d chess of preventing other teams from picking up AKM. Fuel have a lot of money, if Taimou wants to bench himself so they can play AKM and keep him off the roster of another team it is probably worth it. Not like this has to be their only pickup, I'm sure they're also looking into another main tank or offtank to pick up.

People have said a few times that it's super obvious what Dallas are going to do in a match according to the players they pick, so at least with AKM you don't just know he's playing one role like with Seagull. Taimou could also just be stepping down (last two matches he did) to focus on himself and the team for a bit to get back to form and then they have options to do triple DPS or any number of things with Effect on Zarya, Timo on Hog with Mickie still on DVa if that ever for some reason becomes a thing (who fucking knows, maybe triple tank lineups?).

It'll be interesting to see how this goes for sure!

I think they'll bring him in for his hitscan talents. Give him soldier/McCree duties and let him focus on improving his Widow while Effect goes back to his roots on Tracer. Keep seagull on full projectile, let him practice and improve his pharah and genji.

I think he'll probably focus on that too but now if they want to run an unusual comp with pharah PLUS a seagull hero they can, which is pretty cool.

Just as a question, since I'm not questioning at all AKM's skills (I was one of the guys crying for him not being picked in OWL), but wouldn't have been better taking another off-tank?

For example I know that now Harb is on Kungarna but imo would have complemented well Mickie, I know Effect can play a sick Zarya, but his Tracer/McCree are simply top class, they already have Harry for those cases when you absolutely need a soldier and the rest of the heroes that AKM is currently strong on are already covered (to some extent).

Again nothing wrong in picking one of the best (if not THE best) DPS player still free, I'ìm just wondering if it might cause some internal issues.

I think Gods switched into a flex role and hes still a free agent. Hes one hell of a player aswell.
