I think it's more that he didn't really fit in.

With the fact that blizzard has the scrims at blizzard arena it makes sense for some of OWL to give people apartments. I know that Fuel has stated that they feel it’s the next step in esports housing or something Iike that.

Fuel has no roommates as far as I know

The dragons have a house, at least I think they do based on the Dragons watch point spotlight

Especially with mercy junk nerfs, quad tank could be a great team comp, and with some better rein maps coming in stage 2 it's looking up for rein.

Well with Tiamou and Seagull underpreforming on basically all of aKm's hero's it makes sense that now they could guarentee him more playing time.

posted about 6 years ago

He has, but his genji and pharah haven't been the world class level that they need, and you know you're getting at least the pharah for sure, along with the hitscan.

Especially now that Mickie is playing Hog

AKM has an incredible Pharah, and has said he is grinding genji, also the overlap in hero pool would allow effect to play tracer more, something that Dallas should look to get back to.

AKM has said recently on twitter that he is grinding out genji.

He thought that only his coach saw it as he was doing an audio check where his coaches could see it, and didn't realize that he was live on the screen.

Why would Houston pick up a pharah player over a tracer player? Also main tank for outlaws maybe.

From the little bit I've been able to listen to, it sounds really good, and even though you might have done this more for your own practice, having English nexus cup vods is great and so much easier to start watching. From a critique standpoint I would ask if you could either mute the Chinese vod behind you as I find the audio just a bit too cluttered and with the double commentary its super hard to hear the game sounds which would be the only reason to keep the audio behind you. But keep it up and great job!

It’s unlikely to be the dentist at 4:30 am. Also he’s wearing a hospital gown.

I think for a lot of teams, preseason is a good place to play the people that maybe aren’t going to see as much play during high pressure matches. I wouldn’t take too much out of it for rotations, maybe just a couple things like certain lineups on certain maps. As a huge fan of Cocco I wouldn’t be too worried about it. And if it ends up that xQc plays more than Cocco, then I expect him to use that as motivation.

The point isn’t that they aren’t viable. It’s just they aren’t working with their team at all, which is why stevo got banned.

Find a hobby. Please. For everyone's sake.

Dive was popular even in apex season 2. Most teams were using it then.

I believe Zhufanjun is underage. Don’t know birthday because China is shady.

Yo did my SADO thread help or was it something you guys found on your own? Either way happy to contribute to this great OW news center. You guys do great!

When it gets to Philly, SADO isn't there. I'm assuming he got kicked out because they didn't want someone banned from Korean OW to be in OWL. Or someone screwed up on the most controversial player in the OWL.

What happens with the replays is the mercy gets picked which starts the fight, but there is something more impressive to end the fight so that gets replayed instead.

Yea, especially on oasis USA just seemed worn out and SK didn't

Possible Title Contenders

  1. Seoul Dynasty
  2. London Spitfire
  3. Dallas Fuel
  4. NYXL
    Possible Playoff Contenders
  5. Houston Outlaws
  6. Florida Mayhem (If They Add more players)
  7. Philadelphia Fusion (Switch with Florida if they don’t add players)
  8. LA Gladiators
  9. Shanghai Dragons
  10. SF Shock
  11. LA Valiant
I swear if they’re good I’ll move to Boston
  12. Boston Uprising

That’s probably why they have HOTBA, to use mostly for D.VA

IMO Houston is a bit above these teams, albeit only slightly. More skill variation, but higher peaks from their better players.

Even more confirmation that the rest of Faze is on philly

posted about 7 years ago

Well he was still highly respected and a bit above Asher

posted about 7 years ago

I hope they don’t LAG out of OWL. Ha

posted about 7 years ago

I highly expect other players to be added, as the misfits players haven’t even been confirmed by the OWL site yet. More likely just a misfits or guy leaking that the misfits will be on a spot owned by the misfits so he thought it wouldn’t be a big deal.

posted about 7 years ago

Especially with each OWL spot basically having their own sponsor because of the cost, I'd find it hard to believe that wouldn't be on the jersey.

Outlaws: Fuel (NV fan), Outlaws (Best brand plus best NA player lineup and favorite EU players), or Shock (From the bay)
WC: USA
Normal: Envy, but for active teams LH 2 or MY

posted about 7 years ago

Outlaws banter is already better so far

People are mentioning hitscan and specifically tracer as a weak point, but I think that’s why they got Mendokusaii over buds. Back in Korea during Apex Mendo played a lot of tracer in triple tank, to get big combos with Zarya off.

Sinatraa comes quite close to saebyolbe

With two faze members now on Houston, the faze philly dream is now rip. I guess philly could be the rest of faze, plus a couple other people maybe from EU, but I find it hard to believe that Rawkus and Spree would choose to be separated from the rest of their team.

Also the Shanghai Twitter page linked their reveal video with all of these players. The tweet seems to be deleted, but the video is here https://youtu.be/ZsVYWQfJG4E

I’m not saying Knoxxx isn’t good, which he is and I would have loved to see him on Dallas as an Envy fan. I’m just giving evidence for the other guy saying Koreans valuing xQc.

posted about 7 years ago

Well on liquidipedia it says he's 18, and on the Reddit post before the reveal, I remember someone saying that Leave is 18 on his ID, but might be as young as 15-16.

posted about 7 years ago

Eileen is underage, won't turn 18 until August of next year and will be eligible for OWL S2

posted about 7 years ago

A lot of the really top tier players from china are underage. Eileen, Zhufanjan, and I've heard that Leave might be young as well. Though absolutely no one from MY is very confusing. My only thought is that so much of MY is because of their play style and with out the whole team you cant get the same results. But Lateyoung and YangX1aoLg should have definitely gotten in so i'm still confused.

Where is this info from

posted about 7 years ago

I totally agree. Especially with the mechanical standpoint, and with the team. Which disrupts his point about Korean teams being overhyped because their team play is what sets them apart.

posted about 7 years ago

Says Koreans are overrated, also says he hasn’t watched much Asian ow.
