It's first to 3 rather than bo3 in the elimination bracket

Anyone hear anything about what role he'll be playing for them?
Most of the changes seem good, especially the change to Stage and End of season playoffs.
Feel like there could be big issues with the fixtures for each team though, huge chance of significant bias.
This series is worth a rewatch if anyone missed it
More like Copenhagen going up in Flames
New video explaining my issue with the tiebreakers from Season 1
The final part, looking at Blizzard World.
Part II, this time Hanamura. Changed the title so it's a bit more descriptive of what the video is actually about.
Took a closer look at the Grand Finals from Stage 4 and how teams broke the Orisa/D.Va/Junk/Widow holds. Ended up being kinda long so split it into three parts, releasing the rest throughout the week.

Made another about Grav usage and counterplay now we're seeing more Zarya, used a different format than before so I welcome any feedback etc:

Made a video discussing how ArHaN may fit into the Houston Outlaws, sorry if the editing is a bit DIY it really isn't my strength.
Should also be noted that after watching OverSite it was highlighted that ArHaN doesn't have a visa yet so some of the ideas i talk about may be more suited to the later parts of Stage 4/Playoffs or even next season.
Hope you enjoy

Gambler is also one of the best Mercy's and that was the only real hero that Seoul didn't have a super strong player for.
Also from what I understand Gambler is a big brain player and that can only help whether he is on the field or not.
First video from the Stage 2 map pool, sorry for the cough. I go to LA where it is 20 degrees warmer and come back with a cold -.-

Hey all,
I was on holiday but uploaded a couple of videos I made for Temple of Anubis A and Numbani A before I went away.
Check them out and let me know what you think, will start making some for the new map rotation of Stage 2 as well

What like a three day Week 6 with two days of the games that never happened then a separate day for playoffs that allow teams to better prepared and rested???
Who do you think you are coming in here with your logic and reason, get out and take your bright ideas with you!
Tried something different in this one, only focusing on Houston Outlaws and their Anubis Point B Defence. You can watch them do it live in their game v Boston later too:
Another late night update. It is so fucking close it's crazy
Like when Fleta was losing all his games in APEX, or Striker?
Updated, it's 5 am here so someone might wanna check my working :D

After Day2:
So I was figuring out what the situation was for all the teams in the playoff race after Day 1 (Warning this thread will contain spoilers if you have seen the Day 1 results).
Here is the situation for each team:
London Spitfire currently on 7-1 +18 - If they win 1 game they will 100% be in playoffs, two hard games vs HO and NYXL. If they lose both could drop out of playoffs on map difference
NYXL currently on 7-1 +17 - If they win 1 game they will 100% be in playoffs, 1 game vs LS and 1 vs FM so should be in playoffs.
LA Valiant currently on 6-3 +9 - 1 game left v SD should finish on 7-3 +13, depends on other results
Seoul Dynasty currently on 6-3 +8 - 1 game left v SFS should finish 7-3 +12, depends on other results
Houston Outlaws currently on 5-3 +14 - 2 hard games vs Spitfire and BU, need to win both but if they can have the map difference and will qualify for playoffs
Boston Uprising currently on 5-3 +7 - 2 games left v PHF and HO. Best they can finish on is 7-3 +15, unlikely but still possible.
Conclusions
So NYXL is in the best position as they just need to beat FM to go through.
London Spitfire has two hard games but is still in charge of their own destiny.
LA Valiant will stay in third position as long as they don't drop a map to Shanghai, and Houston Outlaws don't win both their games, and Boston Uprising don't win both their games by significant margins.
Seoul Dynasty need LA Valiant to drop maps, and Houston Outlaws not to win both their games, and Boston Uprising not to win both their games by significant margins.
Houston Outlaws have the hardest fixtures but if they win both games by any margin, no one can catch their map difference.
Boston Uprising need two win both their games by significant margins or hope Seoul or LAV drop multiple maps in their final games.
Philadelphia Fusion are still mathematically in but need LAV and Seoul to both lose their final games. Plus Houston Outlaws and Boston Uprising to lose.
I think I worked that all out correctly, let me know if anything is wrong or if I missed anything. Will update as each day goes by to try and keep track of everything
After Day 3:
NYXL 8-1 +20 - Have made playoffs. Any win in their next game will secure the top seed. As will a 3-2 loss.
London Spitfire 7-2 +16 - Any win will secure them playoffs, greater than 3-2 scoreline will make them first seed. If they lose it will come down to map difference.
Houston Outlaws 6-3 +16 - Any win will secure them playoffs on map difference. If they do win and London Spitfire lose by any margin then they will move into second.
Boston Uprising 6-3 +11 - If they beat Houston by a scoreline of 3-1 or more they will make playoffs.
LA Valiant 6-3 +9 - Best they can finish is 7-3 +13 by 4-0 Shanghai. If they do this then they can take third if Boston beat Outlaws 3-2. Or if NYXL wins 4-0 v Spitfire. If all of these happen they could even take second.
Seoul Dynasty 6-3 +8 - Best they can finish is 7-3 +12 if they 4-0 San Fran. If they do this then they can take third if Boston wins 3-2 as they will tie on map difference but be ahead on head-to-head. They would also need LA Valiant to only by 2 maps or less against the Shanghai Dragons.
Philadelphia Fusion 5-4 -5 - Can no longer make playoffs
After Day 4:
NYXL 8-1 +20 - Have made playoffs. Any win in their next game will secure top seed. As will a 3-2 loss.
London Spitfire 7-2 +16 - Any win will qualify them for playoffs, if they do so by 2 maps or more they will finish first. If they lose by 3-0 or less they will still make playoffs.
LA Valiant 7-3 +13 - Will make playoffs if Spitfire lose 4-0. Or if Boston win 3-2.
Seoul Dynasty 7-3 +9 - Can no longer make playoffs.
Houston Outlaws 6-3 +16 - Any win will qualify them for playoffs. Will also take second place too if Spitfire lose vs NYXL.
Boston Uprising 6-3 +11 - Will make playoffs if they beat Houston by a scoreline of 3-1 or greater. Or if Spitfire lose 4-0 then any win will be enough.
Philadelphia Fusion 5-4 -5 - Can no longer make playoffs
They said on stream it was due to personal reasons, no further details provided but that is understandable
Incoming tank heavy meta hopefully means we see a lot of Geguri Zarya, though her D.Va seems pretty sick too.
As the new manager of the team, your severence package is in the post
Super happy for him, he deserves it.
