NV 4-0. LAN is a different beast to online play. NV has more experience than anyone else. FNRGFE already peaked.

I think the disagreeable thing here is > FNRGFE already peaked.
Its pretty obvious that the fresh team with basically only season 0 contenders under its belt hasn't "peaked". Its like trying to argue a rookie has peaked after 1 season.

They are definitely different beasts at LAN, but members of FNRGFE are no strangers to competing on a stage. Buds, Clockwork, and Coolmatt have lots of LAN experience

They also almost lost to RNG, so unless they find a new gear this will be a 3-0 imo, It could end up being closer than the score suggests, but I don't see them taking a map off of nV.

FNRGFE definitley didn't do their homework when it came to RNG. You could see when the played rogue and envyus they had. The match being on lan shouldn't limit FNRGFE at all. If Envyus plays the with the same stratagies and comps then FNRGFE have a chance IMO. Looking forward to the match.

I don't put much stock into the Rogue match, they were still playing in sub optimal conditions, without assuming that Rogue would have won that match I strongly believe it would have been much more competitive, possibly even costing FNRGFE their playoff spot.

Don't get me wrong, I think they're a really good team but they don't feel consistent enough to reliably bring it to EnvyUs. Also, LAN experience counts for a lot in my book, so I see it less as FNRGFE being limited and Envy being enabled, looking forward to seeing if they can show up strong or if the gaps in both skill and experience are as big as I believe them to be.

I hope considering that these players are going their separate ways, they'll still be trying to win and putting in the practice time with each other to do it.

Obviously, it'll be tough to beat Envy but it'd be cool to see.

Umm what's wrong with that exactly ? It's not like a burden to go to LA and play LAN finals...
And the previous round was 8 weeks of online play, so unless you want teams playing at 100+ ping vs ~20, it is the only way for this to work.

After hearing that Seagull is playing I thought I would favour Envy more but they probably have very little practice and Seagull also hasn't played professionally in months (not counting Kelvin and the Chipmunks.)
