They might have lost Kings Row but holy shit Zunba's Zarya is the most disgusting thing I've seen
No shame in taking an L to Flow3r, he's the best there is.
If sinatraa is worth $150,000 then Saeb is at the very least $1,000,000 and Flow3r $2,000,000. Huge credit to FCT and Matt though, as they were outstanding, but in the end SK DPS just massively outclassed the USA's. Great series nevertheless.
Here's a good joke, AKM not being in OWL.
Welcome to the mercy meta.
This match was perfectly summed up by the fact that Mikey actually managed to kill himself more times with his own pulse bombs than he did to Sweden.
Mercy meta feelsbadman.
The lads are throwing. Play Mercy pls.
One rare flag, means only one winner. Ez for the UK.
Alicus said that this roster is the fifth best in the league, so I imagine their new players are gonna add to the star quality they already have.
Suppose we all have opinions, but in mine Zunba and Saeb both outclass sinatraa and coolmatt on their main heroes. Sinatraa is probably closer to Saeb than coolmatt is to Zunba though.
I'd say sinatraa and Jake are probably the two furthest away from their counterparts on the team.
I still think the game heavily favours SK. I don't think a simple change in meta is going to change the expected outcome of the match. Only Adam comes close to his opposite number in SK, everyone else is massively outclassed. Unless KyKy has something very special prepared, this should be a 3-0.
Flow3r has one of the best Pharah's in the game, Jake doesn't have a scratch on him. The influence of Adam however could massively help him, but I still don't see it being enough. I think it'll take a lot of ground work from sinatraa for the USA to come out on top, but against Saeb I don't think it'll happen.
Panker <3
But none of them have the following which xQc does. His Winston is good enough to deserve a role as sub tank for them, and the following he brings is just great for marketing reasons. Cocco being as good as he is meant that they didn't need to a find another incredible tank for the roster.
Not enough flags imo.
I wouldn't call him a top 3 tank in NA, but a top 3 Winston in NA. His rein is sub par but it's not really an issue when you have Cocco on your roster. I think his following is a big part in this move, but it's a good one for them imo.
RIP Blank, it's been a good run.
Smex only announced on twitter a couple of days ago that he was looking for a contenders team, whilst Kruise said he's had the main bulk of his team made for a while, so I don't think Smex will be in it.

Turns out Boombox is in.
Favourite type of music - Alternative/Indie Rock.
Favourite colour - Not got just one, would be black + white.
First video game - Either Pokemon Red or Jak and Daxter, can't remember which came first.
Where are you from - The UK.
Biggest accomplishment - I won £500 on an Xbox FIFA tournament (what an achievement kappa).
PogChamp Overwatch moment = Deflected graviton into a dragon blade team wipe (have actually done it twice so it's a double pogchamp).
Hug pro player - Either Harbleu or Numlocked. I bet they both give great hugs.
Dream over.gg team - Just give me the Brenji and it's all over.
Think it's becoming more and more apparent that OWL season 1 will be heavily biased towards NA and KR players, with a scattering of EU in some teams. It's a massive shame as you could easily name a better EU player for every NA one on a team, but most franchises outside of the KR teams are focusing on building NA rosters. I'm expecting that a lot of the EU Contenders season 2 teams will be a lot better than some of the teams we're likely to see in OWL, and hopefully for season 2 of OWL there will be a lot more EU spots.
I think Zunba's recognised as probably being the most important player on LH and one of the 5 best players in the world. He's definitely not underrated.
It's not a site bias towards Seagull, it's just disagreeing with your point of view. You have all the freedom in the world to criticise and say that in your opinion he's overrated, but when the majority of the pro community seem to think he's one of the best players, people are going to side with the people who have the most knowledge about him, hence the downfrags. I'd argue that you could actually say he's underrated due to the fact that he'd been out of the pro scene for so long and then came back and gave buds (another highly rated player) a lesson on Pharah, something I don't think many people would have expected.
Underrated team: 123 (would have been a match for both C9 and at Misfits at LAN with Tonic, probably not at Gigantti's level)
Overrated team: Misfits (my favourite team but current roster isn't good enough to compete with Envy, LH, C9 + LW Blue in OWL)
Underrated player: Libero (should have been picked up by a tier 1 team months ago)
Overrated player: sinatraa (don't shoot me but he just isn't as good as people make him out to be)
I don't think it's being harsh. it's what he deserved to be honest. You can be as good as you like at the game, but if you ruin the experience for other players by intentionally throwing games and then telling your large fan base to do the exact same, it's going to be massively frowned upon. With the way ranked is now, just full of one tricks and throwers, he needed to be an example of. In my opinion he's one of the most likeable toxic players in the game (a bit of a weird statement I know). He doesn't try to show off and in general seemingly played the game in friendly spirits, the complete contrast for example of sinatraa who I personally can't stand.
I think people will be able to forgive him for what he did, but I don't think it should be so easily thrown under the rug, as it was still, in terms of Overwatch, one of the worst things you can do.
He's a massive twat with a horrible attitude, but simultaneously has probably the best tracking in the game. He's served his ban which was rightfully given so if he wants to get back into the OW pro scene then he deserves a second chance. I imagine he decided that a minimum salary of $50,000 over a one year period in OWL would be much better than minimum wage at McDonalds.
Is being in OWL just a curse now or something? Immortals, Lunatic Hai and now the best team in the world getting 4-0'd.
Winter's my favourite season.
Chips is so fucking good.
He's far from overrated, he just had a bad series. One bad game doesn't shape a player. Logix was worse than him today, but he's still probably the best Tracer in the west.
Misfits weakness if definitely in their tanks. Fragi made cWoosh look tier 3 at times and Zappis was just on a whole other level with his Zarya. Linkzr though put in the best single performance I've ever seen by a DPS since I've started watching OW. He made Tviq look average throughout the entire series. The sad part is that most, if not all of these players won't even be in OWL.
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THESE MAP PICKS??????????
Do you think Misfits know they're playing for $100,000? 6 minutes on a Widow that worked for one push, only to swap with 1 minute remaining.
Linkzr is a bit good isn't he.
Seb gonna be blocking some phat shatters on the biggest stage.
Can see this going all the way this time, but if Tviq puts in a better performance than he did against C9, I can see Misfits just about edging out Gigantti. 4-3 Misfits.
Shadowburn at LAN is imo the best Genji in the world.
Seagull starting is a big feelsbad for Mickie.
Tviq saved his best until last because he was pretty average for most of that series. Greyy, Mikey and Logix were the MVP's for me.
If Greyy isn't in OWL then something is very wrong.
C9 LAN LUL.
Mikey popping off.
