We love haffi
The technical and planning issues aside (we may have expected too much from them on that front), it's the overall attitude of "father knows best" that is disconcerting for me. I feel like they have a presence in the competitive scene enough for them to understand the difficult situation that most of the players and teams are in, and there's an open debate that can be had about whether or not this is a direct result of actions taken (or not taken) by the developer over the course of the past year. My problem is this: I honestly don't think they believe they have done or are doing anything wrong.
eagerly awaiting more haffi selfies
i didn't think it was possible to like reddit less until today.
12 oclock news was coined by the almighty admirable and i dare not anger him for fear of the banning
Harsha says we should bow to public opinion and scrap our edgy name. any ideas?

This was run directly by Battlefy, which is a fairly respected and active platform for tournaments. This is not only surprising but unnerving.
$800 * 6 players = $4,800 = not okay
no one messes with mumer
you can't fool me, we've known for years that nerd stars reflect true currency as soon as WE ESPORTS NOW happens. pfft.
my nudes thread will go live in 1 hr.

this is why we need you spectate the recordings and name each episode.
sometimes i talk too much.
it's super convenient that all these orgs are dropping their rosters so that their contracts won't have to be bought out
the plot, it thickens: https://esports.yahoo.com/blizzard-officially-responds-overwatch-league-rumors-190546691.html
any thoughts on the show? we've been using this format for a few episodes and I'm curious what everyone thinks!
The thing that troubles me is that so much content and competition has been built up to now without Blizzard money... it's reasonable to assume that would have continued without the license halt. If Valve and Riot are polar opposites it was my sincere hope that Blizzard would park somewhere in the middle- supporting their game, supporting the organizers, and ensuring quality competition while enabling players to live and work in a more traditional sports atmosphere. The closer we approach the more my fear grows that we are looking at a complete removal of all grassroots community and totalitarian ownership of all competitive content. It's their game and they have every right to do what they like with it, but I think I still find some romance in the energy and passion of DIY Esports.
This concept sounds so familiar i can't quite put my finger on....

oh yeah.
we already derailed this thread: https://www.over.gg/3374/seagull-leaves-nrg-starting-six-as-mendokusaii-joins
not to derail but this is where i roll my eyes, because women have had some of the weirdest roles in overwatch so far, and it's super embarrassing. it doesn't really make sense to me, as ow has such a low barrier to entry, and blizzard is so PC/female-friendly as a developer.
i'd love to see fewer girlfriends/managers/cosplayers and more competitors, casters, analysts. there's like one female journalist and she isn't even sponsored afaik. it's lookin' real bleak out there friendos.

Dear James McDonnell,
I've noticed lately that your quality of posts has deteriorated, while their rate have increased. I am petitioning you on behalf of the over.gg community to stop wasting our time with shameless self promotion.
We all want to sleep with you already, so it's a waste of time anyway.
God Bless,

don't let ads bully you, he's just jealous

I feel like live events at this point in the landscape would bring an expectation of a larger outlay of funds. We'll see how successful these tournaments are (we will cast some games online) and move on from there. These formats are still quite new and there's only one map so it's experimental ;)
Hi all,
Samiface from Esports Arena here. After a somewhat long silence, we've kicked off a few months of Overwatch Arcade-style online tournaments that we hope will be low-commitment and high-entertainment. We're offering up some prize money and hope to continue with more Overwatch content!
Check it out and register to play- www.agents.gg
the press q tournament is $0.
the fishstix closed invitational is also $0.
