T O K Y O - D R I F T E R S
Is this correct? Says 5 pm EST start (2 PM PST)
Are you earnest saying that Shanghai underperformed as opposed to London just being outright better?
So is Houston's dreams of stage 1 playoffs over?
Effortless 4-0 SHD
4-0 SHD. Houston suck
I'd agree with this except Excelsior swap with Gladiators
Whats the format for games? Same as preseason?
1 Outlaws
2 Spitfire
3 Seoul
4 Fuel
5 NYXL
6 Valiant
7 Shock
8 Gladiators
9 Uprising
10 Mayhem
11 Dragons
12 Fusion
You heard it here first
1) Seoul Dynasty
2) London Spitfire
3) Outlaws
4) NY Excelsior
5) Dallas Fuel
6) Los Angelos Valiant
7) San Francisco Shock
8) Los Angeles Gladiators
9) Boston Uprising
10) Philadelphia Fusion
11) Shanghai Dragons
12) Florida Mayhem
Get a new GM
Mayhem only has 6 rostered, teams will adapt to them quickly. Fusion just sucks. Houston is basically FNRGFE on super sayain which had close results with Houston while sponsorless and facility-less, don't sleep on them. Korea is massively overrated here, think of how Korea took a toll on Envy, now Korea has to experience the culture shock themselves.
What's the benefit of this "connectivity" thing you talk about, for both viewers and players? Having only one source of anything is never a good thing, diversity allows for critique and improvement.
My dude, why are you such a negative person. Your past 10 posts are shitting on XQC, did he murder your family? Nobody in the professional entertainment industry expects performers to be model citizens or saints.
Alright I'm not sure if you're being facetious or naively young but let's not put the cart before the horse. And I know there's a huge amount of Overwatch apologists on the site but it is true there is a lull of activity in OW. Blizzard wants to monopolize all tournaments to have it be either OWL or Contenders. What sort of other smaller tournaments are there to populate the "tier two" scene?
Regardless of whether or not you like someone, OWL is a business and the players in that profession are there because their ability. It's a meritocracy. I don't think it matters if someone is an asshole or not. If you share the same mindset as a Reddit swarm then yeah, I dunno. Imo the ban is a bit much and taken a tad out of context. Why should someone's life and career end because of something so petty?
3-1 Outlaws
Are those the confirmed lineups?
Don't be so entitled, go do something else in your life for the meanwhile
Ten thousand Korean players and 1 NA coach.. you'd think they would just get a KR coach
I mean, Seagull played with Envy, so naturally he looked good..
3-1 FNRGFE
3-0 Faze
3-2 corndogs
i get that he's popular cause streamer, but its a bit of a stretch to say he's anything but a straight downgrade for envy. guy hasnt played competitive in like ten years and when he did his performance was lackluster at that
ft. casters e.g zp, goldenboy, gillfrost, flame and pro players
I find it absolutely retarded that people can be punished for out-of-league casual games
I'd agree but I think people are crediting Envision's loss a little too much to his absence here. fnrgfe just playing really well, so it wouldn't have made much of a difference either way
3-1 FNRGFE
What does this thread accomplish, or are you flexing your Trump impression
Blizzard very much putting the horse before the cart
The classic FNRGFE choke
Rogue will look better tomorrow. 3-1 Rogue
3-0 FNRGFE
3-0 IMT
3-1 FNRGFE
Immortals and FNRGFE
So are these going to be casted or what?
Can someone tell me the need for the tournament to start 3PM Denver time? Does it REALLY take the Carbon Entertainment production crew 6+ hours to set everything up? Everyone's normal workday starts at 9 and is a 5-day-a-week endeavor; production crew has a week to prepare and only works two days. Are they absolutely unable to start a few hours earlier and cast the quarterfinals? Even if it started at 12 PST there would be time to cast all the matches even if they run for 2 hours each.
3 matches broadcasted, yes. Why, I have absolutely no idea
Never trust a company that prioritizes skins over working STV/replays and other game issues
Overwatch contenders playoffs page has all games played at the same time. Are they still seriously streaming one game only at a time for PLAYOFFS? If so the management from Carbon Entertainment is an absolute joke
Yes I love freecam birdeye's view on a super high contrast white ground, needs more 1st person
Is this played offstream since it's behind schedule?
If Arc6 wins does FNRGFE have any chance of qualifying?
How do ties get counted in the standings, anyone know?
