Such a hard match to predict, both teams have clearly proven to be the best in Korea. Runaway beat LH 3-2 last time i belive, which is honestly as close as it gets. My moneys on RunAway on this one, but only because i wanna spam kaiserSMUG.
As a tank player this match up is going to be a feast to watch. Bumper and Zunba are probably the best off-tanks this season. I want to see less of D.VA and more of Zarya but that probably won't happen. :/
LH might just clutch it seeing how effective the Miro-Esca-Zunba dive was today but I am supporting my boys in pink. GO RUNAWAY!
Will be coming within the next couple of days.
What an incredible final, amazing. I love the OGN production, the casting is excellent, the games were unreal and these two teams match up so perfectly. The storylines, the clutch players, the meta, awesome.
Think Jehong on Ana/Zen support, Tobi on Lucio support, Miro on Winston, and WhoRU on Genji all showed "best in world" performances throughout this season on Lunatic-Hai and they shut down Kaiser hard throughout those games. Give me more!
I'll give Haksal the nod over Whoru, and cant forget Nicodgh from Rogue, who is dumpstering everyone in NA with his genji.
I do wonder who the 2 western teams will be. Since eUnited is in Korea, I'd expect them, and unless a top team drops from OW PIT NA/EU don't see a viable 2nd team going that will make it a good showing.
Insane series. Really thought RunAway could take it but LH really came alive in the last 2 maps. Esca also seemed to be stepping up at the end of the series but his inconsistent performance throughout the tournament is still something to be concerned about when talking about Lunatic-hai's roster as a whole.
Really hope RunAway can pick up a sponsor for season 4 because with how well they've done this season and how fast they've risen to challenge the competition that kind of talent and potential is hard to ignore if you're a sponsor.
While I think it's difficult to compare NiCO and SDB etc. to the Koreans since they haven't played the same teams even, never mind each other, I definitely think WhoRU put in a higher impact performance for his team and played better than Haksal did. Not just because his team won, but they really won at times off the back of his Genji performances. He's going in with Miro to be fair but he often is the guy who has to step up to deliver the kills because EscA is hit or miss. Haksal and Stitch I think are overall a more consistent pair, but WhoRU played fantastically this season individually imo.
eUnited are going to Korea after PIT - as are Laser Kittenz I believe... that would be an underwhelming cohort to represent the West if it's related.
