Time to see the the local london lads PogChamp
Winter Wonderland 2017
skweerty [#7]if kongdoo fails or doesnt perform swap in gc busan ez pz lmn sqzy
The expected line-up is unknown so the listed players is random at the moment, SF Shock has Super listed as their starter but hes underage and can't play.
wentaway [#22]Yeh same here, let's hope are good ones, gl to both teams btw.
The cool fact is that LS has 2 teams and since we european will almost only watch London for timing reason at least give us more variety
poi98 [#23]The cool fact is that LS has 2 teams and since we european will almost only watch London for timing reason at least give us more variety
That's true. :)
Only problem I have is that besides the sick name (gotta love the Spitfires, such sexy flying beasts), I'm not to much invested in the roster, which surely is top 1-2 for OWL, but...
I'm an EU guy I like to root for the underdogs, possibly European ones. ;)

Me too :). Underdogs and europeans for the win...and if they are both: party hard.
Xeon [#17]Lets go LA Gladiators <3
Always said LA Gladiators gets underestimated the most out of the "new built teams" ;D
And i dont understand why, the tank duo of IRemix and Bischu + the Supportduo of Shaz and Biggoose is a really strong core + the 3 dps are all top lvl and with good consistency aswell i think^^ They might lose the next 3 maps but i expect them to come near the top6 for sure :)
baecer [#43]Im sorry but the London lineup should be illegal, how the fuck can you call yourself London Spitfire and not have a single English player on the team.... how am I supposed to resonate with my mother land if the team reppin" is full of koreans
becouse uk esports is d ead
SKYTRiXSHA [#44]becouse uk esports is d ead
doesn"t matter, they are represting England there needs to be English players
baecer [#45]doesn"t matter, they are represting England there needs to be English players
English players represented England in the overwatch world cup, this is club overwatch, so each club just want the best player, just like any premier league team would.
Loco [#49]darnit, didn't know it started earlier today, is there a way I can watch the Junkertown game?
replay will prob come to youtube or owl site i guess
baecer [#45]doesn"t matter, they are represting England there needs to be English players
LAG dont have americans and Dallas only has one :/
i prefer high level overwatch with koreans representing non-korean teams than low tier overwatch with players respecting the nationality of the team
Drex [#48]English players represented England in the overwatch world cup, this is club overwatch, so each club just want the best player, just like any premier league team would.
I like that response it makes a lot of sense, thank you for explaining
It's just seeing not one lad on the team is a bit disheartening.
SKYTRiXSHA [#51]replay will prob come to youtube or owl site i guess
It'll be on OWL site later tonight/tomorrow if it's the same as yesterday's games
baecer [#43]Im sorry but the London lineup should be illegal, how the fuck can you call yourself London Spitfire and not have a single English player on the team.... how am I supposed to resonate with my mother land if the team reppin" is full of koreans
So when a soccer team in England signs a Spanish, German, Brazilian, Argentinian, or African player its ok? It really doesn't matter
LordOfHorns [#57]So when a soccer team in England signs a Spanish, German, Brazilian, Argentinian, or African player its ok? It really doesn't matter
in that instance its okay because clubs have to follow the rules such as having x amount of illegible english players... so even the most diversified team such as Arsenal still have english players that english people can resonate with
Loco [#64]seems the Mercy nerfs hit GC Busan harder than other teams
That's the risk of picking up a team that suddenly appeared from nowhere, they tend to just be one-patch teams. However the Spitfire roster also has most of the Kongdoo squad on there as well, so I think with practice they should do fine
Generation1 [#65]Did Shaz just carry LAG? Playing Zenyatta AND Genji? dude's a monster.
Shaz is nutty, was really glad when he got himself an OWL spot
Drex [#73]wow the c9 curse is actually real
lets not judge to early this is pre season and doesnt actually matter for shit :D
NoMercY [#79]wow i was expecting a 4-0 from london, where can i watch the vod of this
No vods because of mlgtv sadly :(
NoMercY [#79]wow i was expecting a 4-0 from london, where can i watch the vod of this
VODs go up on the OWL website after the broadcast. Not sure on timescales but think it is fairly prompt.
NoMercY [#79]wow i was expecting a 4-0 from london, where can i watch the vod of this
Will be on the overwatch league website in a few hours time probably
astr [#87]That stupidity to have double squads internally competing with and replacing each other will not enhance the team's competitiveness but lead to disaster in Spitfire. I don't know who want this ridiculous strategy but I am very sure of its result based on previous experiences in other sports.
Agree, looks like someone thought "double Koreans, double the win", well persons aren't numbers.
And IF they really had to do have 2 full rosters, why not a KO main team and an actual EU "B" Team?
Oh well surprised by the result anyway.
LordOfHorns [#57]So when a soccer team in England signs a Spanish, German, Brazilian, Argentinian, or African player its ok? It really doesn't matter
No english FOOTBALL team is allowed to have an entirely non english squad. There is a minimum quota of homegrown players.

They've mentioned that at the start the teams will play separately before they gel together. Once they've known each other better they'll mix players from both teams
Also both teams rotating in for the same match is probably only for the preseason, since everyone needs to play
