Looking at how Envy absolutely dismantled IMT and that I'm not sure anyone on the KUN roster can outplay either EFFECT or Taimou...this looks like it could be shaping up to be a 4-0 for them.

But hey, screw the apparent odds cause Contenders S1 is here! No for real, I think Envy should win this but my butt cheeks are prepared and fully clenched in case KUN pulls an EnVision an takes this.

I think similar situation to Faze here, NV 3 -1 Kungarna. NV is going to meme on Kungarna for 3 maps but at some point Mykl and Babybay are going to go full tryhard carry and somehow take a map.

They'd have to tie both the assault and hybrid maps for that while splitting Payload and Control. Pretty unlikely to happen imo.

I think this will be a 4-0 for Envy, man for man they have the advantage and teamwork wise they are even further ahead of Kungarna if the latter's performance against two of the weaker teams in the tournament is any indication.

Bischu is a nut, but Babybay, although I don't like his personality, and Remix (at times) are putting in work as well.

On a side note, the only Widow to ever compete at Taimou level, and getting the better of it more often than not, was Reaver (to a lesser degree Gods but not nearly as close).
I dare anybody to challenge this.

He threw a casual N word tweet a long time ago, I'm guessing that's the reason. Plus he kinda has a volatile personality so might not mesh well with everybody.
And the Widow nerf certainly made him shine way less, but Kyky and Grego said it before, Surefour was the team's carry so he was getting all the support needed in games. Kinda like Talespin's situation, where they got roasted by chat and the casters for the same reason.

There are 2 constants in Contenders right now. EnVy at the top and Renegades at the bottom.

And Reaver left Overwatch a long time ago, I think he's grinding PUBG but not sure. Haven't watched him stream in a while.

I don't know what happened to Renegades to make them perform this poorly. I mean they've looked bad in literally all of their games, even the ones where J3 was starting. Same thing goes for Immortals and Rogue I guess, NA scene just seems super shaky lately.

First week, first 2 maps they looked good. They threw them away. But I agree that they looked really bad for the big part of their games.

Either they knew they were disbanding so they didn't care much to practice (which would explain why j3sus didn't play 1st week and the last 3 games this week, maybe he was trying out for another team), or they just got outpracticed by all the other teams. Crazy how they can convincingly top their group and perform well all around in Season 0, and a few weeks later they're just so disjointed.
