I know its been like 5 months since I’ve posted but in that time I played a lot of Fortnite, then my pc got messed up and Fortnite is the only game I have that has low enough graphics quality to run at 60 FPS on at this point. I want to here your guys’ opinions on it

This is a good idea that I have thought about, but I rarely have all 6 of my friends that I trust enough to start a team with on at once and some don’t want to start a team.

Recently I have taken a break from Overwatch (about a month). Partially this was due to school, but mainly I didn’t find the game fun. My intitial reason was because mercy angered me so much that I didn’t want to play the game anymore. I played games like csgo and fortnite, games where people were literally laughing together about team killing, in this time. When I saw the World Cup, I became a bit more motivated to play the game again, and I desided that I should try it out again. After several rounds of quick play to warm up, my friends and I played my first comp game in a long time. I join in, see that we have two tanks and two healers, so I played genji, my best hero, on Numbani defense, and one player asks if I should be doing it and I said, “yes, he’s my best hero.” He then goes on to make various comments on how bad I was, despite haveing several good plays. We managed to defend last point. At the beginning of the next round, I select genji again, because I was playing well, and the player leaves the voice chat, picks attack symmetra, and types in the match chat that I should kill myself. We then go on to lose the game, getting held at first point, I have 4 golds play of the game and my friend and I were the only people who got cards. This type of behavior from players in every game I play is the reason why I am starting to hate the game. The only good aspects of it that I have found recently are fucking around with my friends in qp and watching pros. Does anybody else experience this?

I feel you. All 6 seasons so far, I’ve been in low/mid gold. The best experiences I’ve had in comp have been being placed in low silver and getting out of it in a week and the one time I got to 2300. I don’t think I’m a great player but I have good gamesense and I am an incredible genji. I have a problem with coming off toxic because I know common mistakes like trickling. I would say I am better than many genjis in plat and diamond.

I ran into a player a few days ago who got angery and call my friends and I retards who couldn’t play the game. We challenged him to 1v1s and said we would admit we were bad if he won, and he would do the same if we won. We then all beat him in them on his mains and he said 1v1s don’t take skill and we won on all the no skill heroes, so we played many different variations and won them all. It just shows how no one in gold and other low tiers are willing to admit problems about themselves.

EDIT: Oh, and mercy. I know she’s in every game at every tier, but it makes me so fucking mad because every carry moment I’ve had is negated by an annoying mercy who just uses res, pops her ult and brings back 2 more. And I can’t do anything about it cause she has better flying mobility than pharah with her ult and without her ult she just flies back and forth. Some of my favorite ways (dive, nano blade) to play are completely negated. I have more enjoyment out of death match because there aren’t whiny mercy one tricks sucking their teams dicks, ruining the purpose of many strategies to get early picks. This makes hero’s like widow and hanzo useless if you don’t kill the mercy. If I could nerf mercy into oblivion, I would, if I could remove mercy, I would.

No mercy nerf is too harsh.

Misfits 4-0, they haven't dropped a map this tournament. GO just aren't as good.

Mangachu is honestly a let down. He can't play dva and he rarely perfoms on anyone but pharah. RNG should probably drop him and replace him with a better dva. It's like the situation with FaZe a while back when they had MGEMike/MikeyA and Zombs, they didn't have a good dva player, so they reworked and are now one of the best teams NA.

FaZe 3-1, they're just better than Rogue right now.

Genji's hitreg has been broken for ages, eventually you get used to exploiting swinging above their head and shaking your mouse like you're having a seizure. I have noticed it with mccree and widow in DM and some in normal tracer games.

I personally think that there's no point in arguing about who is better than who in a game where the top teams are teams that are well coordinated. EnVision proved that shotcalling and coordination is more effective than having better players.

As much as I want Rogue to win this, I think that EnVy will win 3-1.

Kungarna and FaZe have both proved that they are good teams. Rogue has been beaten EnVision and didn't do there best against RNG, which is arguably the worst team in the tournament. Both teams have to prove themselves here.

But I gotta cheer for my boy Muma. Here's hoping he doesn't mess up his rollout Kappa
