Envy vs Optic hype
Winter Wonderland 2017
kstyl [#2]I don't see any way that the Outlaws beat Fuel. Not only does Fuel have the benefit of having been a team for over a year together but each player on Dallas outclasses their counterpart on Houston.
Even though I agree this will definitely go in favor of Fuel, I don't think the Outlaws are that far behind in terms of individual talent. They have a roster of incredibly good players. What they lack is synergy and team play, because, as you said, they are a new team.
Alora [#3]Are those the confirmed lineups?
You can check out all of the official rosters on the official owl website
I know for a fact that xqc is playing with fuel ;p
As much as I love the Outlaws roster, I feel like since DF has the more established roster (as in the core has been playing together longer) that this one will end up going in favor of them. Regardless I still feel like this is going to be a really good match and I'm definitely looking forward to it.
tamagao [#10]All OWL matches, including preseason ones, will be LAN.
I knew the regular season would be LAN, just wasn't sure about preseason. Thanks!
Involv3r [#15]Some Outlaws bouta get smoked.
I wouldn't be so sure. Fuel will probably win, but it'll be closer than expected.

I have to say that i think Houtlaws are A LOT overrated....or at least their are consider as they already are on thei maximum on the potiatial prrforms and not at their actually level.

We'll see though. The chemistry could end up clicking- they have the individual talent for sure. I think they'll surprise us.

Given how positively optimistic people are about this roster I think it's more likely they're surprisingly bad than surprisingly good.

Only saving grace for this squad are CoolMatt and LiNkzr in my eyes. Rawkus is a great support too but idk if they'll split Bani and Boink right from the start.
I mean this is pre-season so I was bantering mostly, I do firmly believe that there is no comparing these 2 teams though.
Drex [#34]they always start off slow
Usually they dont start as slow as a sloth covered in molasses
StoiK [#38]Effect and Taimou not popping off :/
Taimou has become such an inconsistent player FeelsBadMan
blakku [#44]MykL >>>>>>>> all dps player
Also I upvoted you!
C'mon now, he's the 2nd best, not the best. He's a humble guy after all.
LordOfHorns [#54]Ok the casters need to be more hyped for these matches. The crowd also needs to be louder, this is holding the experience back so much
Eh, at the end of the day these are showmatches for fun, not the actual event. If they start at full hype, then there'll be no build up towards the actual event, and then the grand finals.
Fuel will be an even stronger team when they realize that Taimou and Mickie don't need to start every single game. Forcing them onto heroes that they don't excel at to the level of other players on the team is a bad idea. I think if they open up their options more and tap into their flexibility, they'll perform even better.
LordOfHorns [#58]Does Dallas know that xQc plays Winston and Orisa?
It's probably because Mickie/Taimou have had a lot longer to build up synergy together, which is hugely important for tank duos

In Contenders they subbed Mickie out for several maps, and I expect they will in the main season as well. These are just show matches.
It's also hard to assess how subbing players in and out affects the mentality of the whole team, not just the subbed player. Mickie is such a positive person, it might be useful to have him keep up morale, over someone like xQc who's very intense 100% of the time.
