Hardest match for Brazil on this group
I'll say 3-1 for Brazil
The format is 4 maps being played regardless of score (other than ties on hybrid point A or assault). The only reason the Canada/Russia match had a fifth map was because they were deciding who was ending first or 2nd in their group.
I think this will be a 4-0 for Taiwan though I'd be very happy to be absolutely wrong here. I'm seeing the USA vs Brazil match as probably being more of a competition than this one.
penda [#7]Technically it should be Chinese Taipei
Chinese Taipei is what Blizzard uses but I wonder how much of that is to not offend China, but I believe it should be Taiwan
I've always known that region as Taiwan and it was taught to me as such in geography (Canada). Wikipedia actually has two entries for the country.
Taiwan:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwan
Chinese Taipei:

And a couple of articles explaining the awkwardness of the naming choice in regards to China and Taiwanese people themselves:

http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/05/sport/taiwan-olympics-chinese-taipei/index.html
Even though I'm not affected by this I'm happy that over.gg lists them as Team Taiwan, whatever little it may change for them.

I am Taiwanese not Chinese.
Thanks for your support.

It's most definitely done to avoid offending China, as I've been taught growing up that they see it as their own territory. However, in the UK we're also told to call it Taiwan, as the people there, as you'd expect, consider it their own country. Likewise, I'm happy the site has chosen to call them by their actual name.
remiska [#14]Prodably most interesting team - taiwan i cant wait to see how they fare against western competition becaue so far we've seen them play nearly exclusivly against oceanic teams and lets be fair, thats not the strongest of regions
and on a topic of naming, im realy curious how casters will call it :P
We've seen what Australia can do so that shows that the Oceania region does actually have some serious strength and we know FW are even better so we can assume that Taiwan is gonna bring some serious competition here, many favour them over USA and id be inclined to agree.
Because of how Blizzard is playing this, I'd expect the casters have been told to call it Chinese Taipei but they will slip up im sure and end up calling it Taiwan fairly frequently. I guess we'll see.

i think taiwan should make it to blizzcon 2nd team beeing usa but maybe playstyle of team australia just was more effective against western teams and taiwans wont be, we just havent seen them play against western teams so we wont know for sure untill their matchs
and i agree with the thing about the casters
gioventu [#21]ppl will be shocked how easy this gonna be for brazil ! VAMOS !
baconjack aint got shit on liko
Yo Brazil, Iām really happy for you and Imma let you finish, but Baconjack is the best tracer of all time. OF ALL TIME.
gggaaammm7 [#10]GO GO Taiwan! Do not praise TW(flash wolves) too much, they're easily inflated :(
Looking forward to see our match, I hope it will be really competitive and enjoyable to watch for both of our countries : )
SpeedFreaks [#1]Hardest match for Brazil on this group
I'll say 3-1 for Brazil
taiwan. not even close for brazil
Taiwan's play style is like poison to Brazil's, mainly because wait for your dive while Baconjack destroys your back line so Brazil's aggressive style was at a huge disadvantage.
Brazil came out strong on their King's Row attack phase but from what I can tell Taiwan was sizing them up and figuring out the best way to deal with them, as Eastern teams often do.
