ez for Valiant based on the rumors about SF that have been going around
Winter Wonderland 2017
but how do we know that yet. just like the last NRG team, the core of the LA rostor is coming off a miserable contenders season 1, and picked up a retired tracer in Silkthread, but you already have Grim on tracer, Unkoe, a mainly zenn main, but didn't look as great as he once was in contenders for rouge and in apex. Last, their is Numlocked, who i have to say, was probably one of the most improved players, but kind of slowed down for envision towards the end on Season 1. The 2 Koreans for LA, Kariv and Fate, in my opinion, have just created more problems for them, especially in communication. Immortals lacked teamwork in Contenders s1 and only won team fights when Agilities had 5 kill blades. I think this was from Kariv and Fate because i noticed multiple times that Fate was diving in on Winston way to early and being killed and Kariv had poor timing on several of his trancendances. Immortals also looked much better with Hyped in the line up rather then Envy, but since they got rid of hyped, their flex tank spot looks shaky. Last but not least, we have Verbo. Don't get me wrong, he is a great shot caller and Lucio, but with Lucio coming out of the meta for Mercy, a hero he has rarely played, i'm a bit worried he won't preform well with her. That is just what i think Horns, tell me if u disagree with anything.
The simple reason that LAV is much more likely to be better is simply because of their almost endless flexibility capabilities (that's a mouthful) compared to the Shock.
Shock has phenomenal DPS players, but no true dedicated offtank player- Sinatraa has a fantastic Zarya, but also a great tracer- Danteh has an alright Zarya/Dva, and Babybay plays an alright Dva, but then you're losing those player's DPS prowess if you stick them to offtank duties. Obviously SF Shock has plans for how they're going to play, but when you compare it to Valiant, the LA boys can pretty much run any combination of heroes at a very high level, simply because they have more players spread out to different roles. In terms of how matches for Valiant will play out, the team will most likely be divvied up into hero pools like this:
Silkthread: Tracer
Grim: Soldier, McCree, Widow
Agilities: Genji, Pharah
SoOn: Junkrat, Reaper, Junkrat
Numlocked: Reinhardt, Winston, Orisa
Fate: Winston, Reinhardt
SPACE: DVa, Roadhog, Zarya
Envy: Zarya, DVa
Verbo: Lucio, Mercy, Moira
KariV: Zen, Ana, Mercy
Unkoe: Ana, Zen, Moira
so if we are just talking preseason and the games don't really matter, we can see how flexible both teams are. In my opinion, the plyers on the shock are just as flexible:
Sinnatra- tracer, zarya, genji
Super- winston, rien, hog, d.va, zarya, pharoah, lucio, ( he is the most flexible player in the world)
nevix- genji, soldier, rat
iddqd- mcree, tracer, widow, 76, junkrat, hanzo, sombra
Danteh- sombra, tracer, genji
Babybay- 76, genji, dva
nomy- rein, winston, hog, orisa
dhak- mercy and lucio
sleepy- mercy, zen, ana
I never got to say this Pix, but congrats on 2 stars
Originaly the first match was between Florida and Phily , but since Phily aren't ready for the preseason , SF sub-in
This match between LAV and SFS was planned from the begining , i guess SFS will play twice this day ;)
