TviQ announced, via Twitter, that the Swedish Overwatch World Cup team is replacing tank player Jonathan "Reinforce" Larsson with 123's hitscan specialist, snillo. The move will see CWoosH move from DPS to tank.
TviQ made it clear in tweet following the announcement that he did not take the move lightly, and a response by Reinforce further exposed the emotion of the situation.
the decision does not come lightly it fucking sucks personally, but it is a decision that we've made and i hope you can still support us!

This absolutely destroyed me mentally for days when I got told, playing at BlizzCon meant everything to me and a dream I fought to fulfill. https://t.co/Sg0mygMMnE

TviQ and Reinforce had played together since before the game's release, when the two played for the MyDong roster that would become Rogue. But outside of World Cup qualifying, Reinforce hasn’t played competitively since Contender Season Zero after he was moved off of Misfits active roster and was allowed to begin looking for a new team. His replacement on Misfits was CWoosH, who now replaces him on tank for a second time.
On the other hand, snillo has drawn attention during the Overwatch Contenders regular season with his Tracer play that has helped 123 solidify a spot in the playoffs after posting a 5-2 record.
The new Swedish roster, composed by a committee of TviQ, Zebbosai and NRG's André "iddqd" Dahlström, will consist of four Misfits, one member of Team EnVyUs and snillo.
The Team Sweden roster will now be:
- Kevyn "TviQ" Lindström (DPS)
- Simon "snillo" Ekström (DPS)
- Johan "CWoosH" Klingestedt (Tank)
- Tim "Manneten" Bylund (Flex)
- Sebastian "Zebbosai" Olsson (Support)
- Sebastian "chipshajen" Widlund (Support)
