With Overwatch and its different leagues being so global I get that some names will fall through the cracks, Blizzard cant keep up with all languages. But now we have a Swedish player going in to trials that has a common Swedish synonym for the C word in his name, it is the first result when you google the word and I checked with a friend from a different part of Sweden just to make sure it isnt just a local thing in my region. It seems that The Contenders twitch channel will stream these trials games and having to hear caster say this really offensive word might become a problem. So how do you report pro players names, where do you turn?

They gave away some skins with the 2018 pass during the season, 12 pre selected away skins and I think we got 12 home skins at the end of the season. But none of these skins where there at the start of the season, they where more of an added bonus, same with the Lucio emote, so I wouldn't be surprised if we got more skins or emotes later on. So comparing the 2018 pass with 2019 at the start of each season the 2019 is way better and cheaper.

Is there a way to report people on Over.gg? Saw some people on the DK thread that I don't think belong on this site.

I think Dynasty has to win 4-0 here, one lost map and they are out. Houston and Boston play each other so one of them will have the same amount of wins as Dynasty but they have way better mapscore.

Reinforce hasn't been competing and it feels like Blizzard allowed for rooster swaps before Blizzcon because of this reason. Meta changes happens, some people get cold and some get hot and Blizzard wants the best teams to compete, with that said the best Swedish team has Cocco on it but still, the team they are now sending are all going to the contender playoffs, they are all playing and playing very well.

People complained that Sweden wasn't looking good at their qualifier and now that they are doing something about it people get upset? I get why Reinforce would want to go to Blizzard and it might be unfair but the team should to what ever they can, within the rules, to win.

With all that said having multiple players from the same team deciding things like this might not be a good idea in the future, maybe only one player from one org.

Every national competition is about bragging rights, showing the rest of the world that you are the best. Why do you think athletes compete at the Olympics? For the money?

Would love to see him on Misfits. Manneten has been great but Harb would be an improvement, being able to play all of the off tanks, never seen Mannered play Zarya . And Misfits needs an American to this American team which could mean more fans and sold jerseys. Would still keep manneten though, good flex dps and tank, perfect sub.

Reinforce is most likely a better tank at the moment, but this is all about the OWL and being ready to compete when the league starts. I'm guessing Cwoosh might have a higher skill ceiling, just gonna take some practice to get there.

A matchup that usually comes down to what team tilts the least and I think the same will happen here. The team that wins the first map wins the game.

To the Krusher99 point, yeah at the moment going from the ladder to a "pro" teams won't happen. To many solo, duo and one tricks makes it impossible for scouts to find good players. But there are changes Blizzard can make to make it more likely. We need a team ladder, a ladder where you create your team and add your rooster of 6-12 players and play against other teams. So when a scout checks out the ladder and finds a GM team they know that this Tracer has at least the basic understanding of teamwork. In no other teamsport is this a problem, no soccer scout has asked himself, can this up and comer play in a team? It would still be incredibly sdifficult to reach a pro team but this would help. And it would make just climbing the ladder more fun because you remove all the randomness, even me as a platinum would love playing more 6stacks but at the moment you just get punished for it. You get punished for 6stacking, in a teamgame.

I feel like Holland would have been a better place for this group stage, better and more famous players. The main reason for Katowice was this amazing venue where alot of big CSGO events has been held, but yeah it looks like they got the dressing room of the venue. Next year make sure the highest ranks get the home advantage, that at least would bring an exciting crowd.

It really sucks that we might get the Finland Sweden game this early, it was the best game last year. A rivalry that spans hundreds of years deserves more I didn't care that we didn't win last year, we won against Finland and that is worth more than any plastic trophy.

I don't live in the US but I still got an Islanders and Seahawk jersey at home. Linking teams to a city doesn't necessarily remove a bunch of fans just because the aren't from that city. I'm still a Misfits fan even though they are now the Miami Misfits. This is actually better because now I know they will be playing matches on a regular schedule and they aren't disbanding any time soon.

Really looking forward to get NV back home and play against western teams.

Do we know if there is some rule against 2 teams in the same city? Stuff like this happens, see NY islander and rangers in the NHL. Hammers and Immortals would probably have different "city" names. Hollywood hammers and LA Immortals seems fine even though they are in the same area.

We don't know how big rooster will be allowed to be in OWL, we are already seeing Korean teams with 7-8 players. Mendo can do hitcan, projectile and off tank. So I can see both Mendo and Seagull staying on the team. Injuries, none important matches and you want to rest a player, meta changes. Imagine benching Harbleu one game so you can run tripple dps, they have world class Pharah, tracer and genji on this team.

Exactly, OGN wants to make money, NRG means more viewers, more viewers means more advertising money. Rocket science this is not.

It is going to be really interesting to see how Blizzard handles sister teams in OWL. Will one of the team become something of a practice team where new members and up and comers will play and you have the team playing in a lower league or other tournament, I know NHL does this. Maybe they want to have a team for when OWL starts in Europe.

Now that teams will be tied to cities in the OWL how will it work in other games? For example misfits becomes Miami Misfits in OWL, will they become Miami Misfits in the other games as well? What if other games do similar leagues? You have to bid for the cities in the OWL, what if you lose the bid in another game? Will it be Miami Misfits in OW and then New York Misfits in CSGO? Will they pay Blizzard for the Miami name in OW and then assume the will get Miami in other games and not pay anything? Can't wait to see what happens.

Loved the flex we got see from C9, they just need better game plans and organization. They went all over the place and had a hard time focusing people down as a team. But yeah, Gods on tank, hitscan and projectile. Things like this is going to be so important when OL starts and you just won't be able to switch your rooster all the time.
