I believe Stitch got 3 riptires in less than 3 minutes...
What a fucking hold!
I mean Flame seems pretty adamant about this not being the roster (or at least the exact one).
Having 3 projectile players also seems weird to me, but a good tank duo and a few popular names in there.
They don't have big names for sure, but I'm interested as to how you define starpower.
Although I doubt it'll be just for that, it's a good move. If I'm not mistaken, he'll be the only Aussie in the 1st season, that's huge.
Custa is a pogchamp. May not be a starter, but definitely one of the top flex supports NA has, hands down.
Also happy for Space, my favourite offtanker, sick Hog and Dva, huge addition.
Give me a good 4-3 with a side of grapes and I'm happy.
Yeah 100%, some people just riding the hate train. I mean there's a reason they went with this roster, maybe they have really good synergy, also one of the few that incorporated EU players.
So first impression might be that they'll get rolled, but I so fucking hope that they'll smoke some kids.
Also HuK just said that after discussing with Shake, he said it was for his best interest to move to a coaching position.
I'm honestly skeptical about this roster too, but they're getting so much free hate holy moly, it's actually sad.
Snow might not be a known flex support, but it's the same with Sleepy on SF, not many people know about them so let's at least give them the benefit of the doubt.
Also have to agree with the lack of projectile here, but HuK said they signed 2 extra players pending something (most likely visa or OWL agreement), so I'm sure they'll fill that position. Unless, as Poi said, Striker takes it.
All in all, not a superstar roster, but I love me some underdog stories, hope they can compete with the beasts in S1.
Also that 76 skin is the shit.
That's not it, him not playing ranked as much as before doesn't mean his passion for the game is wearing off.
He said on stream that what the team needed was him being proficient on 5 heroes, namely Pharah, Junkrat, Soldier, Zarya and one more which I forgot.
Him not playing Genji is because the game isn't too Genji friendly as of now. But if he comes back I don't see him not play it. Or they could get a Genji specialist if they need it down the line.
So Overwatch just tweeted about a series of videos coming up every day about the 2017 World Cup Group Stages.

This is #1, and it is really well done. Also Fl0w3r got no chill.
Cocco representing the 80s though, that's a feelsgoodman.
So some players decide to actually grind more and try their best in Contenders to hopefully get a spot in OWL S2, and that goes completely unnoticed.
But the moment a player retires it's OWL fault.
As Darkcvc said, Winghaven hasn't played a pro game since Reunited , that's late 2016 for you. So if players weight in their options and figure out that it is better for them to move on to other games/become streamers/complete studies/pursue a career, wish them luck and let them move on in peace.
OWL has 12 teams, that's potentially 144 spots, realistically around 120 spots. How many pro players are there ? How many full teams have been picked up ? I'll let you figure out the approximate number of spots that are available to FAs.
Fucking OWL killing the game. Wadda joke.
According to Kruise, Morte is bound to become the coach/manager of their new team.
I actually really like this one. And the logo and brand are sick imo.
Bear in mind they said 2 flags, not necessarily 2 players. I’m gonna go with France and Canada. Not Surefour foursure, also doubt SDB will accept the Genji only role. Very tough to predict.
Would be shocking if Misfits doesn't get them. Fragi and Shaz (probably Zappis too) are upgrades on their roles to what they have now.
Linkzr will probably not be in Misfits as it wouldn't make a lot of sense, so maybe Boston, Philly ? Linkz-Surefour would be sick tbh.
Smex is not in either, bummer.

Mangachu too FeelsBadMan

I'm guessing orgs are filling their rosters based on the current meta, which is not Genji friendly. Unlucky timing also with eUnited's performance in Contenders.
Hopefully we get a mix of established players and new blood into the next Contenders season(s), should be fun to watch.
HAhaa
This song brings so many memories. Good on him for the grind, now we got 2 prodigies for both EU and NA regions.
Also anybody else amazed at his reaction time ? I'm in my mid 20s so my brain cells are as fat as Roadhog at this point but this kid has some crazy plays with his blades.
Winston's Lab stats for this game. Profit popped off.

That too. Spawn rooms should probably not heal in general, and definitely not allow double swapping to get abilities back.
Busan's disengages were clutch, and they did play better overall no doubt. But you could see that Bumper is not an experienced Lucio when it comes to the boops and that cost them a lot when dealing with blades and Tracer/Winston, and TiZi is way too selfless sometimes.
Hagopeun and Woohyal also played amazing starting from the Gibraltar game.
He shouldn't have died in the first place had he gotten harmony orb from Kox, he was at 100 or less hp for a good 5 seconds. They would've gotten trance and primal rage faster and most likely won that fight.
Runaway fucked up on 2nd point defense though, that's where they lost the game imo.
I agree that 2CP can be rough to full cap, but imo dive has a part to play in it too, especially against fast and stally heroes. Cause bar an insane sword (that is almost always countered by either primal rage, Dva/Lucio boops, support ults, Sombra) or a multi kill bomb (which are rare), getting a team kill is almost impossible.
I don't know why teams don't swap to heroes with possible team wiping ults like Zarya and Rein with an Ana. Might lose a few fights but when you get those ults and they're well executed it's a fast clean up.
I guess this plays on the old patch still where those 2 are not at their best, but maybe worth a shot ?
You can't really poke with Mccree when both supports are playing left side. Need to bait people on point but JJanu had very good peels and Haksal-Tizi were applying so much pressure, with Stitch constantly almost never dying. Can't win Hanamura when you trade kills. Also Bumper did surprisingly well on Ana.
Kox is popping off today. Massive balls.
Wait why is NotE listed in TO and 6 Rinas ?
Otherwise these are some interesting squads, looking forward to it.
Valkyrie and double mines, basically like everyone said.
Junkrat and new Dva are kind of pushing Rein, and therefore Zarya, more and more into the meta. Roadhog is viable too. There are better options with what's coming to play after dive.
Since their win against Rogue, every patch has messed up envision a little bit more I feel like. And not having a fixed main tank obviously.
Tseini's Pharah is nuts btw.
I knew I forgot someone in my memer squad...
Oh, well I guess it shows I'm not following it, always good to see teams sponsored and such, keeps the dream alive.
Wait where did BLK go ? I don't really follow the OCE scene too much but I'm curious.
Also don't know if the edit is still in progress, but Dark Descent's and 4Head's links direct to Mastermind GC's page.
He unfortunately wasn't a god tier Roadhog and his Pharah has never done wonders tbh. He's consistent on Genji and can pop off and change games, as you said, but his other heroes are nowhere near imo.
Genji's a very one tricky hero, rarely do you see anybody proficient on Genji be on the same level on another hero (to a lesser degree, Tracer players). I believe he has the highest skill cap in the game, which requires a lot of constant practice.
What's your favorite type of music? Used to hate Rock in high school, but I grew to absolutely love Dire Straits, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, any 70s to 90s rock really. Progressive house with a side of old school techno, could talk about this for days. Also, BB King, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Clapton and all the blues legends.
What's your favorite color? Feeling the ice blue right now.
What was your first video game? Pokemon Yellow in middle school was the shit. Been on console since I started gaming (up until Overwatch), so Splinter Cell and Jak & Daxter when my brother bought a PS2. First game I bought alongside my Xbox was Crysis (still wish this game got a bigger playerbase, would still play the shit out of Crysis 2 and 3 pvp).
Where are you from? Swizza
What do you consider your biggest accomplishment? Not happened yet.
What's your most PogChamp overwatch moment? 2-2 on Sanctum, last second touch, primal rage to get back on point and 4k for the clutch clean up.
If you could hug one pro player, who would it be? Anybody that would feel awkward about it.
Make your dream over.gg team Trashplayer, Accountseverywhere and Robokun87 as my ultimate 3s memer squad. Poi98, astr, cjh0822, Remiska, PixelFish and Kuroi for their contributions.
If you want to answer, what's your first name? Buy me a drink first.
I mean people are entitled to their opinions, they're not gonna start with imo every time they say something/disagree with someone, it's a given in many cases. Same goes when you say that Seagull is bad.
All I'm saying is when you put an unpopular opinion on the table, expect people to disagree with/downvote you. I'll be honest some of your comments were not constructive at all, and you talk about Seagull like it's facts too. It goes both ways.
Can't argue with people when it comes to personal preference, just the way it is.
Overrated players : Jehong (as a wholesome flex support, his Ana is undeniably top tier), Tviq, Sinatraa, Buds, iddqd, Mendo, Seagull (on Genji)
Underrated : Nevix, Zza, Kellar, Snizzlenose, Custa, Gods, Nesh, Hidan
Overrated teams : NiP during tank meta, NRG after rebuild, Misfits after shuffle
Underrated : RunAway, FaZe with TwoEasy and Forsak3n
Off the top of my head, I'm surely missing some.
What is immature is caring that much about up/downvotes. Are you guys serious ? This is turning into the most childish thread I've seen here.
When you're a fan of a player you cheer for him and defend him, it's a natural human reaction, same you do with loved ones. I don't see how it triggers so many people that others disagree with (sorry, downvote) your point of view.
No one's saying you don't get to have an opinion (if anyone does they're idiots). Works the same with any unpopular opinion.
Example: You think Seagull isn't good (or bad even) and people saying he's good can't base it on anything. Well, you can't base him being bad on anything either.
There's no mutual outcome in such debates. It's like telling someone who likes purple that purple is garbage and fucking fuschia is better. Hello ??
And Remiska, you shouldn't talk about bias honestly: doesnt matter if he is good or not but he is overrated. This is textbook personal bias and subjectivity.
Thorin knows his stuff, there's no denying that. Great knowledge of esports, well spoken and whatnot. But sometimes he just tries too hard to be that guy that doesn't give a fuck. He comes off as having a superiority complex, thinks he's always right, bashes anybody who disagrees, and mocks a lot.
As you said, he brings up valid points and has a lot to say about esports, his delivery is just getting old.
No, that's the Sucking Dicks discord.
I did say at a very young age, I meant at 13 -14, kids can still do stupid things, I don't think it'd be fair to completely shut them down, still is a mistake at that age. Past that should be a different story imo.
But then again some people will take it as 'it's ok to cheat before x age', which is fucked up too.
So I don't know, it's tough to put a cheating restriction in a box. Maybe it should be a black and white thing, just advertise not cheating in a smart way or something, and dish out the one strike bans. Delicate subject.
Perhaps I'm just old school, but a second chance after cheating is a no go for me. It's a level above anything else you can do in games. Obviously if they did it at a very young age then another shot is probably warranted.
Or at least a long ass suspension from pro gaming to actually set the tone for whoever tries to cheat in the future.
Kellar is back PogChamp.
Thanks for the updates dude, we can at least keep an eye on what's going on.
He actually has some of the most loyal viewers, was seeing the DafranFeels running around Twitch a bunch after he got suspended.
Dafran is such a polarizing topic.
On the one hand you have the guy who went in ranked and basically threw some people's games for no reason (I know he had stuff going on but ruining random people's games is not the answer), plus it has been said by his staff and teammates that he got offered help and advice yet he still went down that path. More importantly, he legiti just gave up on a map against Arc6 when his teammates were still fighting on the point (I'll never forget ZP's reaction to that monkaS). Thought he deserved what he got.
On the other hand, you got the best 76 player in the world hands down, and a big fan base at that too.
And then the other day I found myself secretly hoping that he'd get back into professional play, just cause he's a big figure for the game and he makes for some crazy plays. He sounds cheerful in those clips so hoping he figured out whatever was going on with him and everybody can move on.
Whichever team gets him for OWL (I wanna say SF, but they got like 23856824 hitscans already), if he gets in that is, will be really lucky. Scary ass muthafucka.
Glad he's back.
BromaS PogChamp. Great to see him again, one of my favourite EU players.
