I can only see this as a net positive honestly. Forcing your players to scrim for 12 hours a day, I'm sure they were fucking miserable. There's no way that was helping their performances.

There was also a lot of drama around him concerning

• shady stuff in the picking of the OWWC chinese team : he was designated the "4th jury" by some dude working for Blizzard and decided on the team alone
• he allegedly got his account boosted to get the coach position
• he allegedly tried to poach players from different teams during OWPS
• some people say SHD wrongly stick to U4's strategy : winston jumps and Undead secure kills before winston dies. There was a controversy about Yaoyao LGD's tank (the team U4 coached before SHD) during the world cup 2017 getting all the blame for their poor performance when he was only following U4's strategy

So I guess him stepping down is good news
