4AM monkaS definitely worth it though
Winter Wonderland 2017
I'm going to go with my hopes and dreams here. The Fuel seemed to be experimenting in the pre-season, so I'm hoping that when they come out for the reals they'll catch the Dynasty a little off-guard and win the first game. If, however, they take a game to "wake up", which has been their problem in the past, it will easily swing the other way. Hopes and Dreams, though! DAL 3-2 SEO.
It's sad but true. I don't think we should consider him as or expect him to be an OWL-level genji anymore. Every time I watch him I hope he can get better a bit, and back into tier 1 someday, but I just can't see any sign of that.
Not sure how much the new patch will affect the junkrat meta, but I'm afraid that when it's live he will indeed become a pharah one trick for Dallas.
I hope DF will really start to practice some serious full dive, especially considering that the next patch isn't in their favor and dive will become the most powerful comp once again.
Back in the day they could say that their players aren't versatile enough for this, but with a 12-man ceiling OWL team they have run out of excuse. With dive comp, xQc can best blend his aggressive style with the team.
I kind of get what you're saying. They just felt slightly off, like they weren't all 100% synced up with xQc yet. I don't think it was bad, by any means, but because they were playing Seoul, that slight off-sync showed up.
I think they left him in just because he is so aggressive, which is a better match-up vs Seoul than Cocco's play style. They wanted to dive/counter-dive rather than just get dove on with no counter.
I don't agree, when you play at your limits you are prone to commit more "mistakes" and if you still don't manage to win, it might look like you underperformed, when in reality is just that you were the weaker team.
Don't get me wrong Dallas is a strong team, and possibly still the best non-Korean one, but the gap with other western teams is closing, up until OWL they really only had 1 contender in the west and it was Rogue.
On the bright side (for non Koreans supporters) what should be arguably THE best team on OWL "barely" managed to win 2 of their matches, both this one Vs Dallas and the one Vs Huston, this looks promising for the league.
As mentioned above, you could also say that Seoul was just consistently a bit better than Dallas overall. Both sides had...questionable plays, but it felt like Seoul was the superior team when you look at individual plays and set-plays execution, more so than Dallas "underperforming", imo.
But then again I am a self admitted Seoul Dynasty fanboi so I'm biased.
Nope they didn't, if you want they are brodcasting this match right now:

Was hoping for the fuel to pull it off but it could be argued that it was close. With fuel experimenting having xqc on so many maps and SD running the same players it could be argued that the future has higher potential for improvement on fuel as they get their players more lan experience. I saw around 360k viewers on twitch at peak for this match. Not bad.
I think they need to practice with xqc more. He is a really good player but its just a different mode when playing in pro games. If the team and him can learn the best ways to play together it should be really strong. But yeah Im not going to beat on it too much casue it was a really close series.
