I'm pretty hyped for this LA roster, so much great talent, can't wait to see what they come up with... I guess we'll find out in 63 days...
Winter Wonderland 2017
ManuxBaka [#4]VALLA was good as expected on this preseason , unKoe and SoOn really carry .
They've got 1 month to train with their full roster ( Agilities wasn't here for preseason) , this team is clearly a top 4 OWL team
1 month left ! #hype
Clearly top 4?
KoleeKo [#6]Clearly top 4?
Yeah of course, they beat two mid tier teams so clearly they will end up in front of either Dallas or one of the Korean teams.
Samba [#7]Yeah of course, they beat two mid tier teams so clearly they will end up in front of either Dallas or one of the Korean teams.
Top 4 will be Seoul / London / Dallas / VALLA
Feel free to pun me after the July playoffs if i'm wrong !

In case of editing, I am going on the record to say that on December 11th, ManuxBaka said that the top 4 will be Seoul, London, Dallas, and Valiant
LordOfHorns [#10]I see no way that Shock could win, Valiant is just better at every position
you're right other than the fact that Verbo is a bot (even though he probably won't play) and babybay is better than any widow player VAL have
bweesh [#12]you're right other than the fact that Verbo is a bot (even though he probably won't play) and babybay is better than any widow player VAL have
KariV is a great Widowmaker. I have not seen enough of Babybay’s widow to back up claims that KariV is better, but VAL does have a good widow. Also, by position I meant Hitscan, Projectile, tank, support. Not individual heroes

I get what you were saying and i agree with you, i was just nitpicking lol :-) but yes, KariV is a great Widow but I think babybay is on another level
paolodicanio [#3]sad 1AM CET first game even tho 60% of this league are from EU :(´
blizzard doing blizzard things and try to kill their own game in non NA regions
You really expect them to have games at random hours in the city the game is actually being played in? When the league goes city based (where the teams are actually int heir cities) that is when you will see time zones benefit the home teams and fans
Rimaz [#17]Surprised nobody has even mentioned iddqd, people must've forgotten how much of a beast he can be. Hopefully he brings out his best if he plays
Mostly because it looks like he's going to be more of a role player instead of a hard carry play maker and I see nothing wrong with that.
Just means less of a spotlight on him.
I was going to give the Shock the benefit of the doubt, and say 3-2 with the Valiant taking it, but with IDDQD being out this week I'm going to change to VAL 3-1 Shock. I'm not sure what role idd would have had, but he was on fire in the pre-season. It's hard to see them matching the level of the Valiant now.
Jingo [#22]Given the Mercy meta, I'd expect a win from Valiant––uNKOE's a top-tier Mercy.
Maybe in a non-Mercy world, we'd see something different. That said, I've heard pros say that the Mercy plague is less bad during scrims than what we all see in ladder.
wouldn't unkoe be on zen, his best hero, and kariv on Mercy
Terry [#21]1) London Spitfire
2) Seoul Dynasty
3) Houston Outlaws
4) Dallas Fuel
5) Los Angeles Gladiators
6) New York Excelsior
7) Los Angeles Valiant
8) San Francisco Shock
9) Florida Mayhem
10) Philadelphia Fusion
11) Boston Uprising
12)上海蟲
I'd agree with this except Excelsior swap with Gladiators
12624120clear [#25]can someone tell me if games have the same format (bo4, and koth bo3 as map 5 in case theres a tie) as during preseason?
yup! at least, that's what montecristo said in his latest video.
multipass [#26]yup! at least, that's what montecristo said in his latest video.
it should be same as preseason
irishfire [#23]wouldn't unkoe be on zen, his best hero, and kariv on Mercy
Yeah they have very flexible supports, but based off pre-season it looks like they'll be running uNKOE on Zen, KariV on Mercy, and swap Verbo in to play lucio on certain maps.
Admirable [#38]is this the nerfed Mercy?
no :/ and AFAIK we don't know when they're going to implement patches
Raisin [#37]Sleepy got the first kill in OWL history.
He's now going for the next record of being the most killed in OWL history
DrElementary [#47]Dhak on mercy and Sleepy getting focused seemed to be the biggest problems
babybay and nomy outplayed as well.. I thought nevix and danteh played well
