3 fights were lost/ended early because Fusion didn't play the objective there
So is this the first time an NRG branded Overwatch roster has actually won a match in nearly a year?
Can we still say FuelsBadMan, or will that get us banned by Blizzard for illegal memes?
I'm expecting this game to be better than half the OWL matches
I'm pretty sure I saw a job post for social media manager in relation to Team EnVyUs, which I would imagine would also cover the Dallas Fuel, so maybe it's a lack of staffing that means things aren't communicated as efficiently as they could be
I've a feeling that name is already copyrighted to something else, which was way they couldn't take it in the first place
I'm sure they would have loved to keep xQc, but as Custa said, it's not good for team morale and practice never knowing if your main tank was going to be suspended or not, and I don't think xQc's mindset is yet in the right place for OWL. He's a fantastic player, and I could see him coming back to a team in a season or 2 after he's focused on his stream for a while
Oh man, I'd forgotten about the Sideshow beach hut
You're missing the point. Pepe is not offensive. A small group of people have taken the image and are using that for offensive reasons. This action from Blizzard validates those people and gives them more power, while doing nothing to address the actual issue.
That's a monkaS
Would you say EU contenders was a good mid-tier competition?
I actually don't think it's entirely Dallas being bad, but other teams being much improved. Throughout stage 1, other teams were building a core roster and practicing their synergy and team play, while Dallas had their main tank suspended. He then comes back and they start practicing, then gets suspended and now kicked. They've essentially not had a stable main tank.
Add to that something weird going on with running aKm overrascal, which kyky clearly doesn't want to talk about, suggesting it's his superiors decision so he can't speak against it, it's forcing Dallas into weird comps they can't make work
Yeah, their comps haven't been too effective lately
I get that the crowd are getting hyped and that's cool, but I feel they need to adjust the mic balance so we can actually hear the casters and the game over the noise of the crowd.
I'm pretty sure it is a cultural thing. Why bother sugar coating something, and having people read into it anyway. If you say what you mean, then it can't be interpreted in a different way really.
They just wanted to play more Overwatch really
Let the Overwatch Speed Run Championships begin
They're an NA org, but they acquired the EU contenders spot that 123 held
Frankly, I find it shocking
Don't think their new signings are expected to be available until stage 3
Tbh I don't even know how much is KyKy's fault. Like, trying to organise a scrim schedule while multiple players were facing disciplinary actions can't be easy, and then you don't want to commit players to scrims who might get suspended. Custa said something along the lines of everyone always felt uncertain in scrims with xQc in case he was going to get banned again.
Without their new signings I can't see Dragons taking a map here really. Carpe and ShaDowBurn/EQO are too strong a dps duo, I think they'll just outfrag if nothing else
This should be a PogChamp game. Both teams are looking pretty strong this stage. I'm giving Seoul the edge here 3-1, but if it does go to 5 maps then I think NYXL will take the decider.
Guess it was a Bye Week for them after all
Just go all in with 6 dps with Seagull and harryhook
Nah, this week they'll have Chips on main tank and Seagull on Lucio, and it'll all work out fine
cough Dallas cough
But maybe with less Uncleswagg this time
Only in this meta. He just plays a passive style that isn't suited to the current aggressive meta. His Rein is still very good but not needed at the moment
From your language and statement I'm going to assume you're an xQc follower
Okay, agreed he has more public exposure than the majority of jobs. But I don't think it's unreasonable of the league to expect him to behave like a decent human being at all times. If the standards are so high, then the other 120 or so players in the league would also be in trouble all the time.
Yes we all have bad days and say stupid things we don't mean. But it's consistent, and despite warnings he stays the same.
At the end of the day, he might just not be cut out for the publicity and exposure of OWL, which it seems like he's realising himself.
zza has a nutty pharah, I would expect him to play that role with mikeya on the tracer.
That aside take an upfrag for the pun
I think the sad thing about xQc is I don't know if he comprehends that his behaviour is wrong, and feels like he's always being picked on. If it was any other job you wouldn't get away with some of the things he says, so I don't know why he expects to in OWL
Sado was boosting people who were much lower rank though. As far as I know Silkthread hasn't done that
Less so EFFECT at the moment, he's not looking as strong on Tracer as he once was
Fusion have a chance here, but it's their second big game in 2 days so hopefully that doesn't affect their performance too much. I think NYXL 3- 1
Looking forward to seeing Big Chris back in action
Mayhem Academy with the rare Welsh flag PogChamp

Well there's the response. As expected a generic 'Not the person I want to be' kinda thing
Effect and aKm will both be on the bench, chipshajen will start as flex dps alongside Mickie

If you can't connect on EU, you can login to America region and play there
Valiant should win this, but it could be a good game. Gladiators always seem to play better in the first game of the week
Edit: well Rip me
If Fuel don't win this I feel there's not much of a chance for them in this Season of OWL. They need to start picking up some wins against the other bottom half teams
No Diya for Dragons, and Seoul looking good this Stage. 4-0 Dynasty
Wouldn't be a professional overwatch tournament without Taimou getting fined for something
96 corrupt coaches in China
96 corrupt coaches
Take one out
Make him step down
95 corrupt coaches in China
I bet he's just moving apartment
It seems like it. Maybe it was a comms issue or something that wasn't fitting the team play style.
The new patch won't hit OWL until Stage 3 I would imagine
