Philly are a weird team. They seem to get by through looking just a little bit better than the team they're playing, regardless of how good that team is

What do you mean, Washington haven't won yet!

Look at Shock's previous history on Busan, whilst they're a top tier team, it's not been their map so far this season

He also moved up to a different OWL franchise, so there's no way he can be a two-way player for nV

Just imagine if Fuel had picked up Kyb instead of Zacharee

Apparently he does a lot of calling for them. Also elk isn't normally a zen player, and he had two days notice that he was playing, and that definitely showed a couple of times.

Philly were kind enough to give it back to them on Anubis at least

I'd love Fuel to start Taimou, just for the next iteration of Carpe vs Taimou, but I know that's unlikely

It depends if I saw all the game, or only a couple of maps, if I watched most of the game then I just watch the VODs of maps I missed. Otherwise I watch the whole match

Good to see the Throverwatch League is back

I find it weird that they broadcast on disney XD I guess they're hoping to encourage a group of younger children to play when they get older? Because I'm pretty sure overwatch is a 12+ rated game, and the average viewer of disney XD is likely to be younger than that

or better yet Jaws or Legday

Even if Envy 4-0 skyfoxes they need to hope for results to go in their favour to qualify

I dunno about better, but someone with a different hero pool, maybe. Unless he's being picked up as a back-up for effect, in case he proves unreliable again, or is getting traded, they have almost the exact same hero pool.

The irony that one week later he does indeed get suspended again

The SMS roster is full of good players that have been in the T2 scene for a while, so whilst AT were favourites, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that SMS won

I'm guessing because Seoul Dynasty are getting an Academy team, which will automatically enter contenders

That's fair, either way, my point stands that there's room for more than one ex-pro analyst to alternate on the desk. Unless they're scrapping that entirely, which would be a real shame

This is sad. If they replace him with Jake I'll be really upset, there's plenty of room for both of them if that's the direction they want to go

Why not include the only academy team in Europe currently? It makes it more interesting, and it's hardly the case they're dominating, they got relegated to trials and have had to qualify back up

I think it is what Blizzard envisioned. Just not what everyone else thought Blizzard envisioned.

I disagree. It will just encourage OWL teams to pick from the one region where they know the infrastructure is established (Korea). Without proper infrastructure the other regions won't develop to the same extent, and there'll just be this weird mis-match of players

MikeyA bringing the rare flag, hard to see how the UK can lose with that advantage

It really sucks this won't be on LAN, I hope that only playing the final on LAN is just because of the World Cup, and they go back to playing semis on LAN next season

The thing is, as a Brit it's a win either way. Either the 'British' team win, or the one team that has a British player on their starting roster wins.

Hey all,

My friend has set up a discord server which he runs custom PUGs on a weekly basis, and he's currently in the process of setting up a fun tournament, which is open to everyone. If you have a premade team, you can register that, or you can put your details down in the looking for team, and find one to join. If you're interested, check out the trailer video in the link, and feel free to join the server.

Yeah exactly, Philly losing is their best chance, and Seoul could pull it out against the Fuel, but beating Gladiators seems unlikely
