I'm pretty sure the Doomfist reduced hitbox patch is in Contenders. He said that he was looking for ways to make it work. He's a good Genji too though, but Doomfist is definitely his signature hero by now.

That’s fine by me, but didn’t he say it was rusty IIRC. Hopefully we can get to see his pharah and mei at least. Other possibility would be offtank, but did he practice them enough to fill that role ? We’ll know more soon (TM).
I was thinking the same honestly. Flame’s a really smart player and is available right now. Don’t know if he’d choose the analyst path if he could make coach but I think he got the chops for it. He also wanted Seagull on Lucio for the World Cup
Please don’t Lucio BlessRNG

The Rogue EnVy game you're talking about was like a year ago. Completely different rosters, metas and context. As much as I wanna see a good close game out of this, I doubt that result matters in this case.
Do you really think deals like these are made last minute ??? And Agilities is one of the nicest guys ever, don't see how other people's problems are related to him... That is even less likely than Seagull joining EnVy.

I like watching Torb, but you can't make that swap on Horizon 2nd when playing against dive. No ult, no armour, heck they didn't even have a shield for the turret. I'm confused.
Lmao what's wrong with that ? If you think Blizzard makes games just to make people happy, or Nestlé makes food to provide food for them, then I don't know what to say my doggie.

Beside a couple great series, they never really shined, understandable turn of events. More FAs I guess
Whether it's a streamer or player contract, losing Seagull has a huge repercussion. I'm not saying it's impossible, just highly unlikely that they would let him go without a big offer.
And being good friends with players on the best team isn't enough to justify Seagull being a sub imo, plenty teams are being formed so the ranking might change. If Effect wasn't as good as he is, this could be a real possibility, but for now, this is a huge stretch to me.
Also, I don't agree with Kuroi's statement about Cocco being one of the best Reins in the west. He's a smart player, but not one of the best.
I agree with this. Fissure is one of the best tanks in South Korea. Mowzassa is good but it's a no brainer for Winston. Haven't seen much of his Rein though.
Also, if Greyy can put in the hours to learn Korean, I don't see why not. Never seen anybody from the West getting picked up by a full korean squad. But on every other role, KDP has the better players (Void and SPACE is debatable imo).

FeelsBadMan.
If there's a buy out option for Seagull, it's gonna be really high. I doubt that NRG will give him away to another team. His contract is not OWL bound but he's still under contract with them. It looks obvious to me that NRG will keep him, but with how things have been going lately and all the unexpected stuff, another org might put in the big bucks to get him in.
Also, as much as I'd love to see Seagull and Taimou together, I doubt he'll join EnVy. Effect has been playing a good Mccree lately, and Taimou is starting to pick up on projectile heroes, looks like they're filling their roles to me. Perhaps they'll get a Rein and a Pharah player or something, but KyKy likes throwing off people so I can't really base what I'm saying on anything.
I also doubt that Effect would be ok with being a sub, neither would Seagull since Taimou will 100% be on the starting roster.
Honestly, besides what has been pointed out, killing a mercy in Valkyrie is so mentally grinding if it's a good player. Looking at the sky box for so long you open yourself to getting shot at so easily.
Hog is kinda back to a good place now though, which kinda mitigates this new Mercy frustration. But I really don't see Blizzard keeping her the way she is now.
Maybe they're holding on to the EU roster for smaller tournies to ready them for OWL S2 ?
Or, they're getting at a cheaper price today to sell them at a way higher one at S2, they have a couple of really talented players on that squad, wouldn't surprise me.
I guess they only acquired part of it technically, since Uncia still is KongDoo's squad. But it's vague as to how to specify the situation.

Some people are confused by this as well, so maybe clarification will ensue in the coming hours or days.
Not the OWL brand per sé, just that the KDP squad will have C9 in its name from now on. As for the OWL name, it better be the London Panthers, obvious but good.
As usual, thanks for the translation. Big difference between a name sponsor and acquirer (?) though, maybe just miscommunication ?

Apparently Kongdoo will be playing under the C9 brand for OWL. If anybody could provide a translation for the article it would be much appreciated.
EDIT: Nevermind, here is the C9 announcement https://twitter.com/Cloud9/status/910735323738513408
Damn this is looking real good. Wonder which spot they'll be representing.
I thinks slow leaks are better to keep everyone guessing at the next addition/announcement etc. No news in practically 2 months couldn't be beneficial to either party. So little pieces at a time is my guess.
This is huge news though, releasing an official start date for the League makes it 'real'. Very much looking forward to how all of this will unfold.
Love the Rein addition. One of the best QoL implemented in the game ?
Also a lot of people complaining about new Mercy being too OP, Dva also looks really weak to hitscans and non instant ults. FeelsGoodMan.
Then why the fuck are you talking Overwatch on an Overwatch content related website ?
And what I said was plenty to me. Pointless talking to a brick wall.
1-1 C9s.
Poko is making a name for himself tbh. Rarely demeched, good peels. Not the flashiest bombs, but he's doing really well. And it's Space in front too. Poko BenBest is a PogChamp tank duo.
I. Am. So. Tilted. ZP is too. They had the next couple of fights in the bag at least. Oh my.

Plus, the core roster has been together for years, so it's understandable that they're going through an even harder time now that they won't be together anymore.

Get Haksal off Lucio for ez sweep.
This is great and all, but not getting Kaiser his grapes WutFace.
Joke aside, Runner fully deserves all the praise he got from his team. True captain. I read somewhere that he has been a very successful streamer for quite some time, but this is true dedication. Cute and supportive waifu + friends, great teammates. This looks promising.
CrusaDe and Crems should probably be replaced on the starting rosters since they're not with C9 anymore.
But I believe in my GO boys to take this, even though I like this C9 squad too. Give me a good 3-2 series and I won't be upset.
Spicy.
Well EnVy's one of the best teams in the game, so they got their work cut ouf for them. And with so many good FAs, there's so much potential for a god squad to be formed.
What's Texas being a state has to do with it lol ? LA has two teams and it's not a state..
Wait wasn't EnVy supposed to get the Texas spot ? Or maybe there's gonna be more than one ?
Thanks for the info.
The fact that Gido can flex to Ana in a setting like this and still perform reasonably well is really impressive too. Hoon's Zarya was always known to be one of the best, if not the best in South Korea, but Zunba was monstrous today on King's Row. Also, I never was impressed by LTJ, even in season 1. His Hog was good, kinda, but the rest of his hero pool is not up to par. I agree that Libero and Sayaplayer would be a massive upgrade for their DPS potential. Feel like LH will get in OWL with a large squad.
On a side note, I wish we could access in game stats (or at least in OWL), cause Tobi is a beast. Like you always see him around, peeling and amping and booping and wallriding, but you can count the number of times he dies in a series on two hands. He's so good.
All in all, this was a big game for Gido I think. What he did was not, by any means, easy.
IMT with no pressure on whatsoever will absolutely roll this 4-0. They're gonna run some weird shit and it's gonna work purely because of individual skill. Also, IMT has been doing pretty good against PharahMercy comps so I doubt it'll be an issue, but that was old IMT.
3-2 to Rogue with Kungarna taking first two maps. Although Kungarna is going through some changes according to the org's tweet, Rogue has been very shaky too. Mid-tier NA teams match up KappaMoss.

Anyone know why Jehong is not playing ? Or they just trying stuff out ?
I'd say it's more FNRGFE being really good on assault than EnVy 'struggling' on it. But I agree with your point.
One thing that keeps coming back to my mind is Goldenboy and Mr X keep casually talking when something big happens off screen (Dva/Pulse bomb kills, Zen right click first pick etc). Now spectating can be tough sometimes for casters in Overwatch, but keeping track of the killfeed should be paramount to casters.
Other thing kind of related to this is they missed something like 2 reflected gravs (not sure about the number) the past 2 or 3 weeks of play. Those are huge moments cause they don't happen very often.
Mixing names/teams up happened way more than it should have, and hasn't been corrected by either party, so someone who isn't necessarily following the scene will get confused very easily by this.
Last point, which is critical and is what Monte, ZP, Hex and Uber do very well, is talk strategy during off fight screen time. EMP for team A, Zen will have to use his trance before it hits. Or trance for team A, Ana needs to position herself to nade it. These are just examples of what to expand on when nothing big is happening on screen.
Jokes and small talk are fine by me as long as they don't keep them going for a long time, which they do more often than not. And I feel like their deep understanding of the game is not there yet, and they struggle to fill down time with strategic talk.
Gb and X on first week were absolutely awful, which is understandable given it was their first game casted in a year or so. Huge improvement from second week onwards, went smoother and was more natural, but still not at the level expected. I'm sure with time and more work put in it, they'll keep improving.
I also find Mr X to be very monotonous, which throws me off a lot tbh, but that's just me.
I didn't give him credit nor did I take any. He's playing solid, but as I said above, Davin is the play maker to me, literally carried so many fights this game.
