I'm predicting a 3-1 Rogue but nothing to base on it, both teams played equally bad, and both of them know it.
I believe that Soon and aKm easily have the upper hand on Grim and Agilities, but IMT has been running Rein a lot in their games so it might force the same out of Rogue, depending on map choices.

First week, first 2 maps they looked good. They threw them away. But I agree that they looked really bad for the big part of their games.

Either they knew they were disbanding so they didn't care much to practice (which would explain why j3sus didn't play 1st week and the last 3 games this week, maybe he was trying out for another team), or they just got outpracticed by all the other teams. Crazy how they can convincingly top their group and perform well all around in Season 0, and a few weeks later they're just so disjointed.

There are 2 constants in Contenders right now. EnVy at the top and Renegades at the bottom.

And Reaver left Overwatch a long time ago, I think he's grinding PUBG but not sure. Haven't watched him stream in a while.

His Genji is really good, he proved it many times during their prime. But it actually is a liability when he keeps on playing Genji when it clearly is not working anymore (i.e. both previous weeks in Contenders).
And about the meta, especially dive wise (which is what Rogue plays 24 7), nothing really changed yet. It's just the other teams adapting to them.

You gotta put yourself in their shoes, Rogue has been dominating for months, so every team was looking at their vods and studying their playstyle more than others.
It's also on Rogue to renew themselves and figure out new ways to come out on top, which they have failed to do.

I think there will be roster changes, solely for the fact that they don't run Rein comps. And I don't care how much they say they can run Rein and they're confident in their Rein comps, I don't buy it.

Wow wow it's only been 3 weeks. For all we know, they made a lot of changes to the way they play/communicate. Or maybe the teams that are beating them are just putting in more work. Point is, we don't know what's going on.
I have been pretty surprised, in a bad fucking way, at how Grim and Envy are underperforming, and said it multiple times. But I'm sure there is a reason to that, can't go from that good to that bad in a matter of weeks without one.

A lot of people in the scene are saying really good things about Envy, he just hasn't found his place yet, and I'm guess that's why they're forcing him on the squad so he gets used to the competition. They're a very tight group of good players, I'm sure they'll figure it out. But talking about changing things up at the first sign of weakness is kind of pushing it imo.

As long as you keep a good half a dozen inches from a guy with his dick out, no one really cares about which urinal you go for tbh.

Even on Soldier he looked underwhelming. Mccree is his signature hero but other players adapted, and he was playing well when IMT was rolling a couple months ago.
Something so drastic has to have a reason though, even Fate, who was their best player, looks shakey. Did they change something in their playstyle ? Can't see it personally, maybe in a few games they'll look strong again. But this is mind boggling. Only Verbo and Kariv came to play right now, Agilities as well but too inconsistent.

Envy's Zarya looked way better this week. His Dva still not up to par imo. Again, idk what's going on with Grim, he's not looking good at all. Is it because Agilities getting majority of the team's support ? Honestly can't tell..

You can't pick Roadhog just so you can tank Doomfist's damage, that's not how counters work. Plus by the time Hog ends his self heal animation, doomfist has another right click ready.
it's a 50-50 for me as for who wins a 1v1 between those two (the first 50 is heavily dependant on the Roadhog's cooldown management).

Roadhog now is, besides being an ult battery, a shield breaker, as opposed to getting low risk high value picks (which, ironically, doomfist does very well). It doesn't matter if he gets a 3 second hook cooldown, this will not change unless they give him his damage, or a big chunk of it, back.
To justify the pick, you need to prove that the pick potential is better than the ult percentage you're feeding imo.

Rival games rarely are stomps. Even though I wanna say EnVy takes it with a clean crisp 4-0, Rogue will up their game for this one.
