This reveal is a shitshow.

Context

WEEKS BEFORE

First, Immortals announced that they would reveal their roster the week of the 24th…

DAY OF THE “ANNOUNCEMENT”

…which was delayed until the VERY LAST DAY... when we got AN announcement. That they’d be drawing out the release. Joy.

DAY 1 - DPS PAINT

Clearly, they’d have to be prepared with some hype marketing if they are doing this. Right? Right???

And it’s just an image. It looks like it was made in MS PAINT.

It was ok. Only the first day. All fun and games.

DAY 2 - LAV more like LATE

.. What happened? It’s 3:45 PST EDIT: 6:09 PST and still nothing.

They are clearly active.

They specifically said tomorrow, yesterday.

Last reveal was around 12 PST.

And as far as I’m concerned it’s past prime time for announcements. But that might be just me.

OPINION

Who’s IDEA was this! This is terrible for hype, (not the cut player :candle: or the other cut player: candle:) marketing, and PR. This reveal is a shitshow, and all of those involved should be ashamed of themselves.

I definitely agree they've made a bit of a hash of it. Are you mad cos you're going to follow LA Valiant? They're definitely going to be one of the teams I support so I'm a bit bummed out that they're doing it like this too

The only thing I can think of, is they are delaying their release until the day before blizzcon, so they can maximize "buzz" about their brand and rosters. If they don't announce their roster and brands tomorrow, then I don't know what to tell you. Because if they do it on Friday, nobody is going to pay much attention, since most people will be following blizzcon things or OW world cup, if they are OW fans.

Yes, it's dumb. But in the meantime- we can appreciate their banter with Dallas Fuel

I mean, you being unhappy with their reveal tactics is fine and sure, they could have done it much better, but I don't see why you'd be remotely this emotional about it tbh.
