Nostalgia Thread

Haiya, this thread is pretty self explanatory; Things you miss from previous OW events prior to OWL, even contenders or even prior to APEX S1.
For me personally, my favourite moments come from APAC Premier 2016 watching the french/swedish iteration of Rogue solidify themselves as arguably of the best team in the world. Both TakeOver Events are also personal favourites of mine.

For me it's definitely the GosuGamers Weeklies. It was awesome to see a new contender pop up out of the blue from week to week.

ZP and crew with the budget production somehow added to the experience.

OGN S1/S2 were dope with envyus/nrg

I should probably add my favourite thing about TakeOver was the layout format of just 2 casters and a player on a couch just talking about the game and not being hyper analytical 100% of the time.

things really started getting stale after Contenders S0 for me

i remember when fnrgfe had a bunch of old tf2 players and beat selfless on their first match in owc s0
its crazy just scrolling thru old matches from 2 years ago and seeing all the old names that already quit

I miss seagull, runner, kresnik, and the crazy shenanigans of hero limit 0. Also I loved the 2016 world cup and how the US went up against the Koreans with Ster on Ana against Jehong and how Muselk's Australia team somehow got a win.

I miss Dafran

Thing I miss most: ZP and Bren casting together. I wish they'd do another tourney together soon :(
