Mouse suggestions?

Current mouse is rip and I don't know what to buy to replace it.

Here are a few specs that I'd like:

• Right handed/ambidextrous
• At least two programmable buttons for the thumb
• My current mouse is a Gigabyte M6980X : http://uk.gigabyte.com/Mouse/M6980X#ov, so something around this size would be cool (optional though as long as it's not too small)
• Customizable DPI
• Several profiles would be cool too
• Budget: as little as possible of course, max. around 70-80€

Of course if your suggestion doesn't fit perfectly to those criterias I'll be happy to read it as well!

Also, I have a question: are laser mice or optical ones better? I have a good mousepad so surface won't be an issue, but I'd like to know if there is a real difference between the two.

I have a pretty good $60 Corsair mouse. It’s got 2 customizable buttons (I use one of them for melee), and it has customizable DPI (it’s got different colored lights too xD).

I can strongly recommend the Logitech G502, meets all your criteria and has been very reliable for me.

Rocket jump ninja is honestly the only mouse reviewer I trust that isn't a pro player (which there aren't many that do regular mouse reviews anyways). The amount of depth that he goes into when doing his reviews is so helpful and is very quick when responding to questions about concerns that people may have when they're about to purchase said mouse

Judging by your criteria, the Steelseries Rival 110 or Steelseries Sensei 310 are choices that you might want to look into. I'd recommend watching the individual reviews regardless of if the mouse is in your price range (which both of them should be) for a better understanding for what you'd be getting if you bought said mouse

I use a Zowie FK2. It's lighter weight and smaller width-wise which gives me a firmer grip. I chose this mouse based on the reviews and criteria for a good FPS gaming mouse from Rocket Jump Ninja.

I'd say the Zowie's fit most of your requirements.

Sounds like you're looking for a deathadder or a zowie ec2

Personally I like large mice. But if you want something similar but smaller the FK1 is inexpensive (or it was when I got it, before it became benq zowie, idk if the price has changed at all) steelseries also might have what you want but I think it's a little more pricey.

I use a deathadder chroma because it's large and has a decent hump in the center.

I use the Reddragon Perdition, but then I used to play MMOs, so twelve programmable thumb buttons might be overkill. Makes emoting easy, though.
Had it for three years and no problems yet. Five DPI profiles. It even has adjustable weights.

I use the zowie EC1-A. It is nice for the medium-high sesitivity I use because it has large pads and slides smoothly making micro adjustments easy. If you get a zowie keep in mind that they offer versions that have an elevated back (to support your palm) or ones like the EC series that are highest in the middle.
They also use good sesnors and have low to no lag with universal drivers.

If you are a claw and look for ambidex, maybe go check out the zowie FK’s and maybe logitech G pro aswell.
Theres also the new final mouse that has come around.

Here to recommend another Zowie mouse. I have the ZA-12 and I love it. It's the exact shape you are talking about. Zowie has incredible sensors and this specific model is really popular with long time gamers like older CSGO and quake pros.

Pair it up with their GSR mouse pad and it's as smooth as can be. I'm a digital artist as well so having precision is really important for me. I've had mine for over a year now and it's been through hell as I've moved about 10 times in this one year and its still going strong too.

Probably a small one, make sure its cute, and wont shit all the time. Sometimes mice can bite, so be aware of that. But a Mus mouse or a Ryukyu mouse would probably be the best. Good luck finding a good pet mouse! Although I dont know why you posted this on an Overwatch webstite

Thanks for all your suggestions! Apparently Zowie mice are really popular out there hahaha. The SteelSeries Rival 310 caught my eye too though, so I'm not sure for which one I'm gonna go.

I got a look at the Zowies and I think the EC2-B looks really cool. For now I'm hesitating between this one and the Rival 310.

I'm not in a hurry though, so I'll take more suggestions if more come before taking my decision. Thanks again for you help so far!

zowie FK is the perfect mouse imo

Razer Abyssus for like 6 years here. Still working fine. Was using Razer DeathAdder be4 it for like 6-7 years aswell (in the end the cabble was "too broken" to repair it, so i switched to abyssus). Can recommend. Abyssus will be also much cheaper than your max budget.

Can recommend the feel of the Mionix Castor is worth the price tag if the shape is your thing!

You can't go wrong with a normal Logitech mouse. There are a lot of mice that they have put out that can help you. I've been using the G302 but the G Pro will always be the best choice. However, that depends on your budget. The G102 is still a solid choice especially for the price.
