I might be biased, but I think Trill did pretty well in the circumstances. I can think of two outright mistakes he made (dropping shield on Busan Mekabase and a missed shatter on the very last fight of map 3 Busan). Importantly, Trill looked as good as ever on Winston.
Obviously, XL2's Brig-Zarya-Rein synergy is a lot stronger than nV's presently. Cloneman got infinitely more defensive (Logix bubbles) and offensive (Mangachu stuns) assistance. That is okay; synergy comes with time.
What baffles me is nV giving Logix a reason to go McCree - every attempt at Pharah failed abysmally. Mr Logix should be thanking THEM.

Snillo being dropped is somewhat of a surprise to me. Zacharee and WhoRU predictably missing... Interested to see where those two end up.
Edit: should've read the article before guessing!
Obligatory:

These guys could challenge SDB for the the Contenders Australia title... But I think SDB is still too strong, especially with Trill + Punk.
Which AU player is leaving to NA, scrub?
Edit: Nevermind just saw Hex is leaving for Toronto. RIP SDB. Also my bad for assuming AU - we don't claim Kiwis :riot:
I never really understood the hype around Runaway.
Now I do. Thanks, Scrub.

My thoughts are similar. Maybe keep the OpTic name out of Overwatch because if they can't have it branded on their OWL, why confuse it all by giving it to their academy team? Perhaps they are afraid being only to brand the academy team reflects poorly. Also it might just be a convenient chance for OpTic to start putting the name of another subsidiary (GGEA) out there.
I am extremely curious as to the reasoning behind this... Is it legal name licensing issue or is it a marketing thing?
I just wanna say I love both of you and your passion for the Italian scene and EU as a whole.
Poi, I appreciate you.
I know it's not the conventional comp on Sanctum... but why would they not fall back on dive, their best composition, once you lost the first fight?
What are everyone's thoughts on a pick/ban system in OWL (or the competitive scene in general)?
OR is it a case that the hero pool at this point remains too small, and could be a viable system with more hero choice?
Just asking because I found myself wishing I could ban Junkrat from my most recent competitive game.
I respectfully disagree.
I think the Dragons that took the Fusion to 5 maps would 4-0 Fuel.
Thanks for sharing your story, bud. It's terrifying to think how common this is.
A lot of people who say dangerous things like "age is just a number" and "girls mature faster than boys" completely miss the point, in my opinion. Age differences inherently and unavoidably create a power dynamic that just isn't healthy.

Woah... Two teams from the same org playing... That's pretty meta.

This is my favourite academy team so far PogChamp
I think 500 is a big enough sample size to draw meaningful conclusions from, so I think capping it at 500 for the sake of a more detailed analysis is a good idea.
Aren't Trill and Chayne both main tanks? Winston/Rein meta incoming??
Account boosting undermines, even disrespects, the purpose of ranked play. Engagement in the practice by a professional player may not necessarily be unforgivable in the grand scheme of things, but it most certainly is abhorrent to the game itself.
Would you mind linking me if it's easy for you? Don't worry if not!
I mean a salary cap in the sense of how #9 means it i.e. a cap for the entire roster. Sorry for the confusion!
I have heard whispers of a player's union, in the sense that it's been talked about as being necessary.
Hi guys,
Since it's fairly obvious that Blizzard is attempting to make the OWL more similar to conventional sports than other ventures in esports, do we think that a salary cap is likely in the future?
This comment got me thinking about the hoarding of players/talent, and how a salary cap may counteract anything like that (in addition to making the League a more even playing field overall).
Additionally, it would probably help smaller orgs break into OWL upon the League's expansion. Just like conventional sports franchises, there will always be differences in financial backing between esports teams.
Edit: apologies for the confusion, I mean a salary cap in the sense of a cap for the entire roster, not individual salaries
Let me know your thoughts!
Can recommend the feel of the Mionix Castor is worth the price tag if the shape is your thing!
London an American city?
Very similar to me. The first tourney I watched was MLG Vegas and I was like "lmao what a name" and now... RIP.

3-2 Australia. Can't let the dream die.
Nah you're right - the winner gets to decide which group they get placed in.
