Hard to say due to the Envision Lineup change (-Numlocked, +Chayne).

I know Chayne played on YGGP but that's about it. Anyone have some input on how good a job he'll do filling Numlocked's shoes?

I'm gonna take a wild gamble and say 1-2 for eV, though I have to admit I'm basing this solely on what i saw of Flash Wolves at the world cup, which weren't very convincing performances, so I'm probably wrong.

Envision haven't had a big win since week 1 of contenders. Flash Wolves haven't had a big win since, well, ever. So I guess 2-1 eV?

I mean, they did win OPC S1 with a very dominant performance against top teams such as Blank (Team Australia), and also placed second in S2 loosing to Ardeont, a top Korean team. I think this match is gonna be a lot closer than people think, though i personally think FW is gonna win.

Jaru makes a statement.. quietly one of the better difference makers not in OWL. I think matches will be close (it won’t be GC_B vs. KDP or EnV vs. Anyone one in NA) but envision won’t drop a map.

I don't think envision will be able to improve enough to win against the top teams at this tournament this should be Flash Wolves 2-0

I'm not entirely sure how this will go because I do not know how good Chayne is. If he can play as well as numlocked, I think this will most likely be 2-0 by eV, possibly 2-1.

I wonder how the groups are drawn because it looks like Group A is pretty stacked compared to Group B.
I think ViCi, Envision, MVP, and Afreeca are the four strongest teams in the group stage, and three of them are in group A. Also, I think Blank and ahq are the weakest, and both of them are in Group B.

As seen during the OWC and the OPC S2, FW are very susceptible to aggressive dive that doesn't give them time to properly set up. I think eV has a chance to take this is they can set up their dives to be quick and effective. I believe FW will have the advantage in longer fights but it's doable.

That being said, I think FW win 3-1, eV have to play with a new tank and I don't know if they'll be able to be as effective as they need to be.

Since their win against Rogue, every patch has messed up envision a little bit more I feel like. And not having a fixed main tank obviously.

Tseini's Pharah is nuts btw.

Jaru looked a bit lost, feels like he hasn't seemed as confident as he was earlier in contenders when he was playing Genji. He's not a horrible Tracer but his impact definitely isn't as big as it once was.

Here's hoping they can find what works for them and stabilize, otherwise they might make an early exit from playoff contention.
