Interestingly enough they can build a beast of a team with this if they're serious. Sinatraa + Nevix would give them the strong Tracer and Flex DPS they need.
I don't know how to compare Space/Crems or Crusade/Neptuno but take the theoretical best of those choices and go from there maybe?
Feel bad for Kyb. His strength is clearly in his Genji and if you're bringing sinatraa in for the Tracer role then I'd of expected them to leave him in for his Genji. Interesting to see how this plays out with the ping disadvantage that Sinatraa, space and possibly fischer (not sure if he's returned from LA) have.
I'd imagine C9 don't really care about the result of the tournament as much as they do getting a tested roster for OWL. They spent $20 million on buying in, so the $100,000 prize pool is barely worth bothering with on the large scale. With so many free agents out there, and only single-week roster locks, it makes sense to swap players in and out each week to see who has natural synergy.
I'd like to see them try some UK players though, seeing as they'll be representing London, but it's hard to make strong arguments for who they'd pick (MikeyA vs Sinatraa, ChrisTFer or Numlocked vs Mowzasa, etc. ) Kyb is still part of C9 I believe, but not on the roster this week, but that doesn't mean he won't be in the future, unless I missed an announcement.
The additions of Space and Sinatraa is huge for this squad. Never really watched Crems in a lot of games (is he more of a 3rd DPS than Dva player ?), but Kyb and him struggled last week, to say the least. Definitely an upgrade picking 2 of the best at their roles in the NA region.
As Laurence said, I doubt C9 will take these next few games' results too seriously as they're trying to figure out the best composition moving forward.
And I agree that having a UK player or two would benefit immensely marketing wise, but Mowzassa has proven himself many times and Sinatraa's a hard player to replace, unless the tryouts go sideways for him.
But imagine having Seb or Mikey on the team...
Tears [#14]4-0 eUnited, C9 squad is basically a mixing bowl of players who don't have experience together, leading me to believe the team that's been together for a long time has the much higher chance of winning.
Same prediction unless C9 miraculously pull of the unsynergized superteam
Tears [#21]Either C9s team happened to work very, very well together considering they're all brand new together, or eUnited is really, really slumping.
Bit of both but I'd edge towards the latter, Vallu has been shit thus far in both games iirc and unfixed has been lacklustre plus Boombox isn't as effective as before since teams focus him down hard, man for man I think C9 are just better period and it's showing.

eUnited looking very, very average at the moment. Nothing shown so far to suggest they've improved from last week.
Funny when you look at the C9 bench and think the likes of Kyb and Fischer along with Zombs would be a huge improvement on how poorly eUnited have been playing recently which shows how strong C9 really are, kinda staggering how the only top EU team not having roster changes are the ones that look so rusty.
victococoblazin [#33]Eunited christfer? :eyes;
Never been a fan of Sharyk so that would be good, they need a plan b though they could do with a sub or two just to mix things up, Vallu has been shocking in the last 6 maps and it's times like this you could throw Kyb in for him instead but they can't.
Omegon [#45]why was Volskaya a draw? Why does Blizz keep changing it's own comp rules for pro play every tournament?
Probably because teams are having to play 4 maps, if 1 was a draw we'd be having 5 maps which let's be honest is quite a lot, still a bit shit though I don't get why they do this, I like the old fashioned bo3/bo5 yet Blizzard do like to be different eh.

they both go on overtime so no time to play the next round...is competitive base rulez
Omegon [#49]Okay now I feel like I'm crazy because I'm convinced that if both teams finish point B in OT, they both get 1 min for another attack.
They don't. Has been the same way for a long time now, just doesn't happen much.
The Sinatraa + Nevix combo was very strong as expected. IMO the main issue with eUnited is the same one facing Rogue in that they don't have a strong off tank player.
Since triple DPS is no longer effective they're left struggling with a weaker tank duo. Both of the previous top dogs of their regions will need to either shore up their rosters with players than can more properly fill the roles or just dedicate players to be offtanks and flex to DPS when needed instead of the other way around.
Remains to be seen if either can do this effectively enough to get strong, consistent results.
blakku [#55]eUnited pretty unlucky on Volskaya:
That's not unlucky, just Nevix's anti-invis goggles put to good use.
