Didn't this happen with Striker in Season 1 too. That's why they traded him

So what does London get in return? Am I just missing something or what?

posted about 5 years ago

He's definitely staying in OWL. Interesting who picks him up though.

Rip Gods to Houston

I agree that he was mental on Junkrat, but when was the last time Junkrat was in the meta? He doesn't play a good Doomfist or Tracer, and his pharah and genji is average at best

I don't get what Boston is doing so far in OWL. Season One we all thought they were gonna be one of the worst teams, yet they were one of the best, with Striker, Gamsu, and Mistakes becoming star players. But for some reason they threw away that team for another team of untested players. They got off to a good start, but were horrific in the second half. This is now going to be the third roster interaction for the uprising. I don't understand why they keep going for diamond in the rough type rosters when it fails. It's like they don't want to spend any money in their rosters

well he hasn't helped either. And Jake is just apart of a larger issue with the Outlaws. They don't adjust to new meta's well (Tracer, Goats,2-2-2-). Jake only does well if its on a junkrat or 76, and they haven't been meta since the Mercy meta. So while he isn't why this team hasn't been sucessful, he hasn't made the team better at the same time.

I think they would be good with both. The last 2 OWL seasons rawkus hasn’t had the pressure of being benched. Obviously he hasn’t been as good during these last 2 seasons so having competition should motivate him

I’m hoping they pick up sleepy and gods. Sleepy is much better then rawkus and gods is one of if not the most experienced owl players based on how long he’s been in the pro scene. He’s really consistent and the dude was eating ultimates left and right on dva. If I’m not mistaken, when Toronto played Washington, he ate 2-3 of stratus’s blizzards on the first map

I don’t think they decide on which player to let go based on if their ok being on the bench or not

I get what you're saying, but if you think he's overrated, then why did flower get released and not Pine?

He has a pretty damn good widowmaker too though. Is he more known for his mccree? yes. Does he play a widowmaker just as good? yes

I can see why he didn't play in the beginning of the season when goats was meta but during stage 4 the team was 4-3. Widowmaker was still a viable pick during and it doesn't make sense why he doesn't play

I still don't understand what they are doing with Pine though. I get how good he is. He arguably has the best hitscan ability the game has ever seen. But what's the point of having him if you don't play him?

Doesn't surprise me at all really. Yakpung really struggles toward the end and held the mangachu, logix, and gods iteration of the roster back a bit.

Looking at Over.gg free agency tracker, the defiant in my eyes only have 2 prior OWL options (I don't watch Contenders enough to say anything about talent there). The most likely option in my mind is Gamsu, especially if they go back to an all Korean roster. He's a good OWL veteran and in my mind good for a team rebuilding like Toronto. The other option for me would be Fragi, which is unlikely but he's another OWL veteran and his aggressive playstyle could open room for Mangach or Logix to make plays

I probably completely wrong on this but it's just what I think.

Yeah I can see him beginning to take rawkus' role due to his struggles. I kind of want to see Gods go to Houston to fix their flex tank issues too

titans win 4-2 they just have too much star power the seoul

I think Stellar needs to go but I liked colorhoux and fusions. Maybe some support changes are needed but they don't need to completely renovate this team

I mean, Mykl's sources have been pretty consistent this off season. I remember he once said in a vid that DC would get a spot and sure enough a couple days later they did. Let's wait this out but I have faith in Mykl

Im disappointed with the whole sweden team in general, not just tviq. No one on the team is making any step up plays. Going into this, i thought this would legit happen because sweden in the OWL didn't find much success. Chips, flopped, tviq, flopped, snillo, flopped, cocco, cwoosh, and mannetan, they all flopped. I still don't get why reinforce is the main tank too. Use someone who has actually been playing competitively all year, not an analyst
