Unpopolar opinions

I saw a thread like this on reddit and i thought it could be fun: just write down unpopolar opinions about the pro-scene, OWL conteders etc.( Possibly with some reasoning)
Here's mine:

London wil struggle a lot and will be inconsistent most of the season (with only a great or two Stage thanks to some meta). Imho they are super meta dipendent.

Seoul will still struggle, i feel like they are still inconsistent on support and dps side.

LAG will be the best team throught the season: i just think they are the best team overall in term of solidity and high results( maybe the will not win thw GF but they will end top 2 in Regular Season)

One of the Korean teams will be the bottom one, I'd say Florida, the issues weren't just the players, were way deeper and they didn't really address them (at least looking at it from the outside).

Paris will end up top 4, they have lots of EU talent, if they jell... (again these have to be unpopular opinions so :D ).

Pro OW (OWL) has managed to "kill" the Korean scene, after the EU one, even if for different reasons, I watched this last Contenders, and this version of Runaway is nowhere as good as the previous one, still they steamrolled everyone.

At the moment I don't see Korean contenders teams being stronger than NA or EU ones.

Korean scene? wasn't the Chinese and NA scenes a shit show as well? to be fair even EU had a bunch of 3-0's yet T1w only lost like 1 map the entire season of contenders didn't they?

The strength of depth outside the OWL is pretty dire which blows my mind why Blizzard don't support it even more, who are they going to get to fill more slots in the future? if you kill the scene outside of the OWL and end up with 4 new franchises where are those players coming from?

It's not like you have to pay these contenders guys a ton of money, even just giving them an average monthly pay is enough yet for all the millions flying around that's too much. All Blizzard had to do was follow the e-sport model properly and not try to turn OW into a mad dictatorship but fuck it.

SF Shock will contend for a title in S2 led by the best coach in the league, Crusty, and the ridiculous dps duo of Striker and Architect. If Viol2t is as good as I've heard he is, they could legitimately win the entire league.

NYXL will (and should) trade Ark, who will become the most expensive player in league history.

Shanghai will be the biggest disappointment of any team. With their failure to upgrade their tank line and inability to get Decay the team will just look like a worse version of the contenders KR team that lost to Runaway.

Philly Fusion are objectively worse than they were last season. They might struggle to make the playoffs, especially if Zarya stays in the meta, since they lost their two best Zarya players in SDB and Hotba.

Paris Eternal will be the best expansion team, not Vancouver Titans. Both teams will be around 6~8th place.
I think Vancouver Titans is slightly overrated, and Paris Eternal is underrated. "Haksal," "Stitch," and "JJanu" are going to perform well even at the OWL level, but other players are somewhat overrated imo. I am not saying they are bad. I wouldn't rank them at 6~8th in OWL if I thought they were bad. I saw many people considering them to be near top, and I just couldn't agree with that.
Paris Eternal has a great core and should be considered just as good as Vancouver Titans, possibly better. SoOn was a star player from top performing OWL team. ShaDowBurn also played well in most of the matches he played. Only reason he did not get to play a lot last season was because he was competing against the top DPS players (Carpe and Eqo) in the league. Rest of the players are all also pretty good and have great flexibility. One concern is whether BenBest and lhCloudy can perform well on Winston. Paris seem to have great supporting staff as well, so I think they will be able to perform at similar level with teams like LA Valiant, San Francisco Shock, LA Gladiators, and Vancouver Titans.

all OW esports outside of OWL is sleeper rn (a lot of OWL too) and if blizzard continue to handle the T2 scene in the same way they have recently there won't be one within 2 years

also next season OWL viewing numbers will be a lot worse

Vancouver will finish 2nd overall

Danye will have.a breakout season, establishing himself as a top DPS

Jjonak will struggle to stand out as Zen becomes less of a 100% pick throughout the season

Idk how unpopular it is, but there aren’t any other females in OWL because there aren’t enough good females

• Goats as a comp will never die, even if other comps become playable. It has too many aspects which make it good that unless pharah gets buffed into oblivion or something it will always be good just because of certain characters existing (not even brig, i mean Lucio and rein)

XL2 is making right choice and entire roster will be in owl s3

runaway is overrated and their fans are worse than houston's

Sparkle will never play in OWL. By the time he finally turns 18 he will be so burnt out of grinding in contenders while watching players worse than him make OWL that he'll quit.

chengdu underrated
shanghai and vancouver are pretty overrated

1:Seoul will disappoint again

3:Outlaws will be a bottom 5 team
4:Philly are mid-tier

Corey will win at least 2 DPS duels during the entire season

Chengdu Hunters and Florida Mayhem will be mid-tier teams
LA Valiant and LA Gladiators won't live up to expectations
Dallas Fuel will still be bottom tier
