have announced that tank player
Yakpung
has parted ways from the team. He was subject to team option, according to the Overwatch League.
We want to thank @yakpung for being our shield throughout our inaugural season. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the team and our fans. Thank you for being part of our family Kyeongmu and we wish you nothing but the best. pic.twitter.com/exMAg0Fh0A

Yakpung was signed onto Defiant last year as part of the expansion team’s first season, and the team tied for 17th this season with a 8-20 record. Yakpung played for the team throughout the season; in Stage 4 he played in three matches.
He is the fifth player on a team option to be cut by the Defiant this offseason. All of the team's roster entering the offseason was subject to a team option. The Defiant currently have five players remaining.
This is one of two changes the Defiant have made today. They recently announced that former Paris Eternal head coach Féfé has joined the team.
