Don't love the idea, but I see where you're coming from.
I wish that applied to people like you.
Eagle poggers
Dude honestly I usually side against Remiska but you're being a complete asshole here.
Again, you can make arguments and debates here but this site isn't meant for insulting. Go to reddit if that's your forte.
Glad that he's benched. Shows some seriousness, hopefully he improves his attitude and mentality.
They have Flow3r, gg
I like him. Not my favorite caster, but hes fine in my opinion.
Those are some massive candles
Do you think substitutions for the team are going to change once the meta shifts?
I wouldn't be surprised if Outlaws won, but I think Fuel has a slight upper hand.
But, anything could happen!
Edit: so far I'm wrong.
Agreed, I personally think LAV is number 2.
This episode was incredibly funny after Nomy's section.
I suggest you all watch it, I was dying
He’s always been incredible. Stands out even more now
Give them time, they’ll improve. They need to figure out what works for them, it’s been 1 week of regular season.
Shanghai should pick up Eileen.
I could see LAG taking Adam, Roolf, and FCTFCTN
Don’t think the tiers will stay as is though. Lots of season left. My current rankings:
1) Dynasty
2) Valiant
3) Excelsior
4) Spitfire
5) Fuel
6) Outlaws
7) Fusion
8) Gladiators
9) Uprising
10) Shock
11) Mayhem
12) Dragons
I agree, the money was unprecedented. Money doesn't always equal success though, which was the basis for a lot of people's arguments.
Fortunately, in this case, it so far has.
Pieces you've read and videos you've watched were obviously less Overwatch-educated, and maybe hadn't been watching the scene for very long. Simply judging during the World Cup is fine, but that's not when people were unsure. People were unsure during February-May where our biggest western tournament was fucking TakeOver 2.
Those writers and content creators are also the smallest portion of the OW community, keep that in mind.
jesus christ dude, I'm not pulling information from fucking thin air.
You should do your research from now on before you accuse.
If you looked at the state Overwatch was in first two quarters last year, it's not that difficult of a statement for most.
I completely disagreed with it, but I saw where people were coming from in most eyes, and again, to most, it was reasonable.
If you're looking for proof, Noah Winston from IMT said that 30k/40k for the first season would be a success.
He's an investor in the league, and he said that.

Your literacy?
No, I agree with you. Journalists and a lot of players who aren't in OWL are the suspects of those claims, but that's also a large majority of the OW fanbase. Remember the forums, this website, reddit, etc. during our limbo last march? Most people were on the negative side of OWL.
holy SHIT you people I never said 50k would be a success! Read the fucking post!
I took it far because I care an incredible amount about OW's success. I'm not a joke, there's no reason to hate on that, we're all here because we love and care about Overwatch, unless of course you're not.
I didn't spread fake positivity, I didn't lie about my opinions, I simply expressed what I thought was going to happen. That attitude happened to be extremely positive and a lot of people agreed with me.
Yes, it's been 3 days. But things have turned out pretty well so far.
Again, read.
A lot of journalists and players presumed that OWL wouldn't succeed, and it wouldn't reach more than 50k viewers. That wasn't my opinion- I knew the numbers would be great.
50k viewers would've been horrible. But that's what many people thought it would get.
Never said it was my opinion for a good success? Read more carefully.
And those numbers that I gave for a first season of an untested are fantastic. Stop comparing it to an an established eSport that has built a fanbase for years on end.
It's not fake positivity, it's legitimate. Who wasn't positive after opening day? Like, c'mon. Take a break from all the comparisons and all the possible negative outcomes and just enjoy the OWL.
Have Koreans shit on any teams in yet in OWL?
No.
They've been dominant in other maps, and then got dominated on others. It already seems as though the competition is fairly close, don't be surprised if crazy upsets happen later on.
You're actually mostly incorrect about that.
A "success", in most eyes, before opening day, was to reach about 50k viewers. It exceeded all expectations, and if OWL can sustain 150k-200k + viewers every game, and then for Stage Titles and Grand finals reach 500k+, then OWL is unquestionably a success. Factoring in live events doesn't really fully come into play until season 3. Don't forget, there will be rewards for viewers in the future, but if you're disagreeing that we're off to a good start then you're once again being overly pessimistic.
Honestly kill me if ur not the same person
Runaway will get to finals and will give up a 3-1 lead BibleThump
I feel like this happens all the time, always feeling dejavu
An amazing roster, but will they actually perform well?
Hoping to see more additions to the dragons in the future, coaches and players alike
cough Eileen cough
I think you're overthinking things.
It did well, and it had a great first day success, it's as simple as that. There was a lot of hype!
Based on this game...
y'all know OWL gonna be crazy
