The total viewer count has still to be released, but the NA stream had like 350k viewers opening day. Aside from financially, I want to know if week one of OWL was wanted it to be. Honestly, I loved the predictions and fantasy games a lot more than I thought I would. I think it lived up to what I wanted, with a few upsets, but I don’t like that the maps are already set before the game starts. Finally, PINEGOD.
I will say that the tiers really showed this week. But in terms of gameplay, hype, and upsets this week was great. Truly a great week, I hope this momentum continues

In a shocking and unexpected turn of the results, the Korean teams did better than the other teams.
As an event though it was incredible. When I think back to all the scepticism, doubts and concerns there were throughout the build up over the last year, seeing it all come together so well was fantastic. It surpassed my expectations, and I am very much looking forward to the next 39 weeks!

Not only it did live up to my expectations (was not expecting much tbh), it actually blew them up. I'm now super hype to follow esports as much as I did before, back when I was super into the TF2 scene. The matches were awesome and my boys from Philly made me even more happy to be a Fusion fan given their awesome performance so far.
