Grab aktm and yoz, and kidnapp deartn and Jester to save them from the OPC nightmare they're in and conquer the APAC region.
The Envy owner mentioned what their plans for Seagull are in regards ti his spot on the team.
His tweet:

WhoRU just now turned 16 so we're looking at at least the first 2, possibly 3 seasons of him being ineligible, but I do like the idea of Fleta being on board. Maybe bring in Bunny for that strong Tracer? They need two very strong DPS to complement their amazing support/tank core.
I'm still hoping for the Meta Athena duo though.
If that's how they looked at it none of them would have bothered going Pro in the first place. And yes, some of them could get picked up by an OWL team, remains to be seen what position or role they would have to play in the Org, but ofc it's possible.
Profit and investments are two different things, that I do know. I'm just responding to you saying that you don't think team would field 12 because of the costs. I think it's also unlikely that teams would see any profits until several seasons down the line. Blizzard's hold on revenue sharing until later is probably indicative of that so it's also unlikely to have been an immediate factor.
In the end I'm saying the costs will probably be extremely small in comparison to the capital available to these owners, so a return on the initial investments is probably not their main objective at the moment. But it's as you mentioned, how much they chose to put in is unknown.
Your logic argument doesn't work because it's 12, and not 24, semantics won't be of much use when we actually have real numbers to use here. I'm sure you're also aware that the total costs for these OWL teams will be a fraction of what an actual sports team costs to operate so it's unlikely to be an issue given the capital I assume these teams have.
I think you might have an unrealistic idea of how much money is actually in play here, this really shouldn't be that shocking to you. It all depends on how much money the owners and investors want to inject into it, and again, it's a fraction of what actual professional sports teams cost.
I can't predict the future but given that OWL allows you to have up to 12 players I expect most teams to take advantage of that and have subs.
I have no idea how many or what role they will play but you have to expect that OWL Overwatch will change because, well because it's OWL. It's not like people are saying the whole scene is going to change, maybe it will, maybe it won't but the rule set of the league does make it possible.
Shouldn't too much of a stretch to think that the extra space will be utilized, this isn't some crazy theory, it's literally applying the rules that have been announced.
Rogue gets in if RNG win this in any fashion. I'd like to see them go through since it's been night and day since they came back to Vegas but it's a stretch.
Luckily FNRGFE is a really good team so them getting in certainly isn't a bad thing.
Edit: FNRGFE need to 4-0 RNG to overtake EnVision and avoid EnvyUs in the first round of the playoffs.
Edit 2: Corrected for Contenders map wins tiebreakers.
Rogue lost, EnVision is guaranteed a playoff spot, just playing for seeding now.
This is now a must win for GO, regardless of the score a win will see them qualify for playoffs, a loss ends their Contenders run here.
This match seriously has me questioning how much of Rogue's slump can be attributed to the playing conditions they were in. A loss is a loss but it would be very unfortunate if they didn't make playoffs because of it.
EnVision need to win 2 maps or better to guarantee themselves a top 4 spot.
Rogue needs to 4-0 to lock in their spot as they'll have more map wins than FNRGFE can get. Either way a win is almost 100% required since we expect FNRGFE to beat RNG.
FNRGFE just needs to have as many match wins and maps wins, or more than any of the other two teams since they've won the matches. That can be as little as winning one map if Rogue get's 4-0'd all the way to needing all 4 maps if Rogue sweep and that EnVision loses 3-1.
Having said that I think your prediction is very likely unless we see some insane stuff from Rogue.
Admirable has the 4 star power to do it, but if he's not around I'll offer up my budget 3 star power.

Holy shit. Are they actually gonna do it?
Update, LH and EnvyUs.
Unfortunate for C9 but also understandable considering recent developments. As for GO my only worry is how they'll perform against the other three since they do seem to be a cut above them. Specially when Leaf can't use Doomfist, so hopefully they have pocket streets to carry them during those moments.
Edit: I'm not gonna call it for fear or cursing C9 but...
Never have I seen anything more true. It's going to be a true battle of the East vs the West...in the stands as well as in the game.
Honestly I could see then using him in triple DPS comps with Genji, Pharah or Hanzo or on the Zarya, if he plays at all. This would have him subbing with Mickie, because I don't see either EFFECT or Taimou sitting for him and because I think he is better on those heroes than the other players.
I'm not holding my breath though, just a possibility.
Just want to note that EnvyUs officially has an NA player. IT'S OFFICIAL BOYS, THEY'RE AN NA TEAM. KAPPA PRIDE.
My best guess is that they might sub in in for Mickie if they want to run Zarya or triple DPS comps. His Zarya, Pharah and Genji are the best in that team imo, but otherwise I'm not sure what role he'd play.
I MUST SATIATE MY LUST FOR POWER AND EXTERNAL VALIDATION. Can I fix your thread title though lol?
He could since the roster lock only prevents team from using players that have played for another team but I don't think they would pull him out against Rogue.
They may have been underwhelming but they seem to be back in their element so there's a higher chance that they could prove a challenge.
Already an active thread about it:

No Eileen no win?
You are indeed correct.
With what he's been able to build I think any Org would be crazy not to want his services. Maybe he'll be picked up by one of the newly announced ones.
I wonder about C9 depending on how the GO vs eUnited and C9 vs TS matches go they could actually be on the outside looking in...hopefully they manage to get going.
OK so the BP comp didn't work, as you'd expect, but it was entertaining as hell to watch!
If LH were to get themselves another DPS duo, who do you think the current best choices are? Don't need to limit yourself to current duos, you can mix and match.
Not saying LH's losses were all on the DPS since the whole team didn't play well, but it does feel like their strats fall apart when the DPS have off days since things just don't die in an appropriate amount of time.
I'd actually love to see that too, but there's still more Overwatch to be played before we get there so I wouldn't call it just yet.

No seriously, we have 100% accuracy on the first two games again, hopefully we're not horribly wrong for the next two again.
Because we like being accurate 50% of the time maybe?

Jack made a thread on Reddit explaining what's next for the NA/EU guys.
Thread in question:

Meza my liege, we beseech thou to bless thy with ye presence.
The level of ridiculousness in this comment is palpable. Of course Blizzard aims to make money that's the main goal of any "for profit" company. By the way, the tournament rules were laid out from the get go about the status of Contender spots, we also don't know what was going on behind the scenes and if Blizz had any involvement in the sale of those spots. Hell, we don't even know if they got a piece of the sale or not. But looking at the results of the teams that got in there's just nothing to complain about.
Neither of you were able to formulate a coherent argument here, if all you're complaining about is companies wanting to make money. Hopefully the companies you guys work for also want to make money so they can pay you.

Looks like we gonna need Meza again...though I'm sure some of these guys will be able to find a new home if they so desire.
It's part of Blizzard's approach to making the game accessible to everyone. Imo this is a casual game at it's core, and actions of Pros do have an effect on the community, considering how intense the echo chamber effect is in Overwatch.
Competitive is where all the non pro overwatch players that want to experience the highest level of the game they can go and if that environment is seen as uninviting it would cause problems for the game down the line, and the eSports side would end up suffering by extension.
More importantly I think the part about the article alleging that both MY and LGD pay their players according to their Comp ranks is what would incentive's them to win/draw trade so imo the burden should be on the org more than the players.
Pretty sure the world as a whole is money driven, unless you think having to hold down several jobs on top of being a sports or eSports athlete is a healthy thing.
Your argument of "it didn't used to be like this" makes as much sense as Trump MAGA rhetoric to me but to each their own I guess. Being around for a long time is meaningless if you can't understand current dynamics and how they change over time.
I think you misunderstand how businesses work and what it takes for your game, and by extension it's ecosystem, to thrive.
Also, just want to add that ofc this game is heavily commercialized'it's has been and is still geared towards mass accessibility. This isn't some purest game only aimed at the most hardcore of players, never has been.
What you just said make no sense for any game right now so I'm really puzzled as to what the point you're trying to make actually is.
Same here, and since KDP just got picked up my dream of seeing Bridring/Rascal in LH has finally, officially been put to rest.
I think you may have suggested something like Saya/Libero in the past and I think that could also work. But they need something to shore up their obvious weaknesses. Along with a restructuring of their in game leading/shotcalling if Esca was doing the brunt of the work.
Also, I'll be rooting for whatever teams end ups in Canada but in the meantime I guess it's LH and NRG.
FeelsBadMan for Nevix, he finally got a spot where he could shine, and he did better than I thought he would. But there's no competing against Rascal. The KDP DPS duo is the best in the world in terms of flexibility and effectiveness imo. Since it's clear that they won't be going to LH I really hope that Lunatic does end up upgrading their DPS core. Maybe Sayaplayer/Libedro? They need some new life after getting bodied by GC Busan, not to take anything away from the upstarts.
