Honestly hope he does, if the accusations he's facing are true, because he shouldn't be anywhere near Pro Overwatch. Hell Blizz could even sue him for making money off of breaking the ToS, if they really wanted to.

Pretty much it in a nutshell. It was pretty annoying to see all the people shitting on Rogue for losing to the eventual finalists of the tournament, on top of those teams being seriously stacked at the time in comparison to all the others.
In the end what killed Rogue was a meta shift and them not having the tools to fully adjust mixed in with some logistical errors that could and should have been avoided. Hopefully the boys that didn't get in specially will get their chance to shine later on in the season or in the next one.
The only player I'm not convinced will get in is NiCo given his current proficiency at the flex tank role, even though he's gotten much better at it over time.
One last good round of fragging out for the surprise beast of a team. Sad for both Zappis and Davin since I think they also both deserved to be in OWL but hopefully they get their chance a bit later on if they decide to stick around.
Really would have liked to see Zappis and/or Roolf in this team but overall they seem to have most if not all of their bases covered so on a flexibility point of view they should do well. The only question is the same for all these mix teams, will they be able to perform at the level needed to beat teams like the new and improved Seoul team.
Happy to see that another good group of guys made it in, now interestingly enough this SADO guy is getting absolutely shit on by the KR Overwatch scene for being a notorious booster.
How does that even escape a team's field of view when going through the selection process? There's no way he should be allowed to play this game professionally if the allegations are true.
Also, respects to all the Pro players that didn't make it into Season 1 but should have had teams not wanted to get a couple of random Koreans in. And I'm not talking about the ones that performed well in APEX, just the random ones we'd never heard of or seen before, just my opinion though.
Hopefully there's a possible expansion, or turnover gets rid of the ones that can't perform and we get a more high level league in Season 2 as a result.
Good additions to the core that should help cover some of their weaknesses. The only question would be the main tank role and if they'll have fixed their Tank/DPS sync issues.
Another team that i'm looking forward to seeing if they can perform and be competitive in the league.
What you just described is literally what we have now. You get/lose a minimum amount of SR for winning/losing and it's modified by your performance.
The difference is that your suggestion would make the SR gain/loss variance even larger than it already is.
The squad looks well balanced with Surefour on HitScan, Asher on Tracer and Hydration on Projectile. Bischu is, imo one of the best western D.Va players and well all know what Shaz and Bigoose were able to show during contenders. iRemix is the only one I'm not quite sold on but I'm very willing to be surprised with what he can bring to the team.
I'm actually not quite sure how strong this squad is, but I rank them above Boston, probably in line with LA, SF and Houston. Really looking forward to seeing how these teams perform.
I did see it, that was my tweet, but I don't know if he means more roster announcements or just any announcements since I did't specify.
Shaz, and Bigoose did very well at contenders and Surefour is Surefour. Bischu is imo one of the best western D.Va players at the moment while hydration will probably mostly be on Pharah duty.
Can't say much about Asher since he never impressed me that much at APEX, same thing for iRemix since I haven't seen him in a while.
The team looks pretty flexible but I'm not sure about their actual strength. My gut feeling is that they'd be comparable to SF and Houston.
I can only speak for myself but I tend to value informative posts over bants. I do welcome banter, just not EU football levels of crazy, things tend to devolve regardless of intent and it's just not interesting to me.
I'm sure some peeps will agree while others will disagree with me but in any case, I think shit posting is fine if it's toned down instead of tone deaf.
Sideshow's a rebel, and also British, not that it has anything to do with it, I just like pointing it out.
Guess you chose the wrong forums then, I'm sure Reddit will accept you with open arms though.
#5 - Why is it Florida Mayhem and not Miami Mayhem? Sounds better as the latter.
I changed my post to include some bold text for you. <3
Rogue, Gigantti (some of their players could have fit right into this roster) and let's not forget, Reinforce - all died for this.
Edit: I should have specified roster announcements though. It's likely to not be new players...
A couple of us were able to confirm that the roster will indeed only have the 6 Misfits players:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Competitiveoverwatch/comments/7acz33/florida_mayhem_roster_reveal/dp8z4vv/
Not feeling too good about that one, otherwise the logo is starting to grow on me and so is the color scheme somewhat. I'm still not entirely crazy about the name but I guess it was to be more inclusive of both Miami and Orlando.
Coming back to the roster though, I really hope there's some sort of mid season short signing period because there's so much talent available. Uber mentioned it could have been money related, but they really need some more players in their to cover weaknesses as well as for insurance...
US based teams usually have US flags, regardless of where their players are from. See Rogue, FaZe and EnvyUs for examples.
I hope so as well, so many talented players to choose from, I really hope you're right.
Edit: Not looking too good for anything more than a 6 man roster right now:

Don't feel bad, I beat another person to it on the way. You should know by now that I live on these forums...
Rosters are locked remember? So unless they signed more players and just decided not to announce them, this is it for Season 1.
They seriously didn't add any other players to their roster? Bull Shit. Yeah they have a solid core but it's obviously not unbeatable as shown in Contenders.
Reinforce, Rogue, Gigantti died for this.
Just want to point out that you're taking issue with him saying Dallas can't beat Seoul or London, which is a valid opinion even if you think it's retarded.
I think his problems/stupidity go much deeper than that.
Beat ya to it lol.
I think the interesting part is that the team name is the Florida Mayhem, instead of Miami as most of us had heard/expected.
Now imo this makes sense if you're going to Rep both Miami and Orlando(?) since it's a sizable distance but I wonder if this eliminates the possibility of having more than one team in that state. Hockey, for example has both the Florida Panthers and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
I think I might be putting the horse before the cart though, since I'd much rather have more international teams, including one in Canada, to cheer for.
They've officially announced the team.

I like the name, not quite sold on the logo and I'm assuming the colors will be Red and Yellow. I'm also unsure about what the actual color scheme will be but I predict I probably won't be too crazy about it tbh.
Not sure if troll or...
Don't know what your actual goal was with this poor excuse of a post but if you're just looking to start a shit throwing fest you'll find plenty of them on Reddit, where they can stay.
With all these colors I hope their colorblind mode didn't break, but otherwise I'm liking what I see quite a bit. Hopefully the game is much easier to follow when we get to see it in action.
I mean, you being unhappy with their reveal tactics is fine and sure, they could have done it much better, but I don't see why you'd be remotely this emotional about it tbh.
The goal of them being in Contenders Season 2 would be for exposure and this is but one a several options they have depending on what they choose to do. Now, if you mean that they're really good players I'm with you, but saying that someone "isn't good enough" to be on a team with someone else is bullshit.
Yes they'd probably do most of the heavy lifting but team dynamics is a thing and making your teammates better is also a thing.
Damn, and they were going to reveal their Support roster tomorrow too! What a surprise though, never thought he'd be in with them.
MegaKappaPride.
hoping to see Carpe in there as well. He needs to be in OWL considering what he showed in FaZe's Contenders run.
HE IS CALM!!! KappaPride.
Canada wins it all due to special rule allowing for Triple Pharah.
I like both the name and the logo but the color scheme is OK for the most part. Moreso looking forward to seeing the official roster reveal!
The name's good, logo is OK, not a huge fan of the color scheme though. As for the roster it's been mostly proven strong in KR but we'll have to see if if trend continues after being removed from that environment and the country they're so used to being in.
Typo fixed! Oh and Linzr, was a monster Hog player btw. I assume he still is if they wanted to put him on it.
I tried Mercy out on the PTR and is basically feels like you're stationary while rezzing. This make it extremely risky to attempt when not benefiting from the protection of your allies so rezzing deep into the enemy team will no longer be a thing.
One hero that might benefit from this change is Zarya. Her bubbles last up to 2 seconds if not broken early so I think she'll see more play because of this. D.Va might also need to always make sure to have her DM up if Mercy needs to rez but Zarya requires less ability micro management to get value with a Mercy.
I look forward to doing some more testing from a Soldier 76 point of view to see if I can now prevent her from rezzing more often instead of desperately trying to kill her before and after her rez.
A Mercy main friend of mine is very upset with these changes so Blizz will probably get a sizable amount of pushback from the Mercy players of the community..but I quite like this change. It adds a considerable amount of risk to the ability and rightfully so, it's impact is way to big to be that easy to pull off.
The official patch notes are out for the PTR. Mercy's rez now has a 1.75 cast time, up from being instant. The cast time is removed (back to instant cast) when she's in Valk form.
What I think this will mean:
Dying while over extended will most likely be costly since she can't swoop in and rez you as easily. If she does pull off the rez though her GA will pretty much be off CD so her chances of getting away remain if you haven't been able to kill her while she was stuck to the body.
Getting picks into the enemy team still won't mean much if the target was close to the group. So she'll probably remain a mandatory pick on defense and will really promote a more defensive style since offensive mistakes will be more costly.
Solid looking roster overall imo. They look like they're going to be pretty versatile and able to run a multitude of comps to an effective degree. Really looking forward to seeing how they measure up to the rest of the field.
Interesting, TaiRong coaching a team with no Koreans. Looking forward to seeing what this squad can do!
With the increased weapon damage she now has 70x2 + 60 = 200 dmg. She doesn't need more dmg on her nade imo. The anti heal is the main focus of the ability anyways, and three taping a 200 HP hero is very doable if they can't get out of your LOS fast enough and even though the skill required scales with the skill of your enemy it's still relatively easy to achieve.
Sadly I know nothing of you, and thus I cant'assume that you even have the knowledge or insight to made that educated of a critique.
I'll just have to chance it and watch regardless.
I'm assuming a proper intro vid will come after the whole roster's been revealed maybe?...Hopefully?...
They're trying to one up each other obviously. But at the same time, NY didn't even do an intro video for their players so imo they still take the cake in that regards.

Looks solid to me.
The timing I agree that it muddles the waters when trying to quantify the effects of the Mercy nerf, but the community vastly disagrees with your opinion that slower iterations is better, despite the compound effects they can cause.
A good Ana should be able to triple tap a 200 HP target, but the skill level of the target will more than likely be high enough to compensate. As she is currently, diving her is objectively easier than it's ever been, while Lucio has never had issues peeling for himself so the argument that giving him the extra dmg would be equivalent and thus irrelevant is incorrect imo. In a vacuum this increases her survivability but wouldn't realistically be enough to justify picking her over Mercy.
In the end I don't know what the rez changes will be but I'm making the blind assumption that the Ana change will have little to no impact in regards to Mercy unless she gets nerfed so hard that she becomes irrelevant. I think it just adds an option if you can take advantage of it, because it will still be more difficult to get value out of the sniper than the point and clicker.
Episode 13: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ok6EEMwOiBI ft. Wolf (APEX caster)
The only issue I see here is that unless rez becomes much much less powerful Mercy will in general always be an easier healer to use than Ana. Barriers, D.Va, dive (now that Lucio is less used) all make her much less appealing than the point and click queen of long ass fights.
What this slight bump does is give Ana an extra tool to possibly pressure that Mercy rez and hopefully lessen it's impact, because yes Mercy is the problem. But Mercy in her current form of having rez as an ability isn't going away afaik and even with this tweak justification for picking Ana will still be difficult to validate.
I'd love for you to elaborate on why Ana having 70 dmg per shot is an issue since it still won't be an effective method of taking down opponents unless they're already low imo, and it boosts her viability when try to fend off the divers that have relatively free reign, since
Again, this is largely irrelevant as we're talking about Overwatch. In this game of Overwatch the argument that Koreans aren't as good at aiming is an incorrect one since you obviously have players of widely different proficiency and mechanical skill across the board.
Naming any other game defeats the purpose of ranking KR, NA, EU CN or SEA players individually, in the game of Overwatch.
Of course, I'm just intrigued that you'd be worried about some of the best players in their respective roles.
