I really think it depends on the situation really. In BabyBay's case, the dude is ringing for a friend's team in a real match albeit a very unimportant like tier 3 match and he decides to cheat. If he's willing to cheat under those circumstances, why would he not attempt to cheat when more is on the line? and he is at LEAST 18 but probably older so he was pretty close to being an adult at the time of his incident. If you're cheating at like 16-17 or older, you're too old for that.

Now if you're 13 and you learn that you can download an aimbot to make you win everything and so you hop in a couple random valve servers, then whatever we've all done something like it but you're not fucking with competitive integrity.

You hurt a lot of people when you cheat in real events. You're not just hurting yourself and your team and the other team, you're hurting the people who are watching and might want to pick you up, you're hurting the sponsors of the event and the orgs, you're hurting the game itself and the game studio, publisher and its devs... It's just really rude. All these people worked really hard and you're just gonna say "fuck you" to all of them. Pretty fucking scummy. There is not a lot you could do to show redemption for that. That's literally in Overwatch's case THOUSANDS of people.

Think about what a bad light it painted on Competitive Cycling when Lance Armstrong got caught doping. Basically none of the events for like 20 years even mattered. Dafran decided to play torb and sit in the spawn in some ranked games. Sure he's wasting people's time and it's annoying and he's encouraging others to do it but ultimately, the games themselves are meaningless. Those games are for pride and bragging rights. Thats about it.

I think he has bipolar or something like that tho. That's tough. That's not something you can just control or fix overnight. You need intense therapy and medication to handle something like that. Even if he was offered help, by the time it was revealed, he was already in the thick of things. Assuming that he does have bipolar or something as serious and add the pressure situation and it's really not surprising how he acted at all. Now, if he comes back and repeats the same story, then that's something else.

Jake the other day said he remembered one of he's teams giving up in ranked because they thought he was a cheater. That's insane. He literally just spawn camps GMs and top 500s on command 1v6. It's not even an issue for him. He doesn't even have to really try half the time.

I didn't look at this for a few days but I've come to back up the Knoxxx is average statement. He's average in that there can only be 12 starting winstons in OWL. Knoxxx has never been shown to play any other hero well. EVER.

All of the main Korean winston players are better. Fate, Mano, Miro, Fissure, and Kaiser and that's just the well known ones.

Other known better tanks: FCTFICTION, Cocco, Fragi, MESR (although he's retired)

And that's not counting the unproven ones like xQc, Muma, Numlocked, iremix etc.

and then there are the chinese ones and Meza and a whole bunch of others that have deeper pools and have proven to do more than get carried by Soon, Unkoe and AKM. I've heard knoxxx is really smart though. So maybe a really good backup.

Its felt especially bad lately. One of my accounts is only a little higher than you and my other masters and people are so bad lately. Trolls and slurs and people just generally not even trying. Anyone who has ever doubted Seagull's ability to play Pharah is delusional. Say what you will about his other heroes but his Pharah is insane. No one hits more directs.

Yeah but what do you do if you want Taimou playing mcree/widow/soldier and you want a hog? What do you do if you want effect on tracer and need a Zarya, sorry to burst your guys' bubble but Cocco is a better Zarya than all 3 of them by far. Cocco was an incredible Zarya back when he needed to be.

And not to put Cocco down a peg because he's great but there are definitely better available Winston players out there. That's not saying he's bad but some of the best winstons in the world are available right now.

Just bring on a main tank and put cocco back on Zarya. I doubt it will be Gods but he could be the tank/hog player they need and he has been grinding hog.

I think it's probably when they reduced the ult drain time to 0, it pulls the blade out immediately in the code but the animation hasn't caught up, hence extra time. Not totally a bug, but something they'll probably fix.

It brings up the question though, how do you deal with the fact that Genji is extremely vulnerable while pulling out the blade and now he doesn't have the added bonus of getting his ult back.

Sure, people with bad aim need characters to play and those can't really be DPS characters but you can't make a character a MUST PICK that isn't fun for DPS players in an FPS game. 80% of the player base is pure FPS fans and they want to shoot stuff. The heroes that shoot stuff should be the good ones.

how about instead of making people want to play mercy, we just make people want to play the support heroes that are actually fun for DPS mains. Space played D.Va and Zza played Genji so Danteh has never played either in professional play.

Babybay's Genji is EXTREMELY average. He wouldn't even make a top 50 in the world list.

Sinatraa has also never proven to be STANDOUT on genji. He's passable and it has worked when Selfless needed it but it was never game changing like the Genji's he will be playing against. You're forgetting who he will be playing against.

I have never seen BabyBay play Zarya. Bischu did it for Kungarna.

so unless they just magically get really good at all these heroes in professional play overnight. None of them have ever proven it before.

And they will lose every game they play for that half of the season. They will get absolutely crushed in every single one. Until Sinatraa and Super can play, they have no roadhog or Zarya player. After those two join, they will still have no D.va, pharah, standout genji, or Junkrat and they have two extremely average Winston players. Teams like LH, KDP, Misfits, and Envyus will destroy them and considering the other free agents left, the other teams have a good chance of doing this as well.

This team will not win games unless Sinatraa just happens to play out of his mind all the time. The whole team hinges on Sinatraa just killing everyone.
