J3 is underrated but I think he's fringe T1 or very high T2 so its hard to justify him over some of the other available choices. Also being on RNG didn't help show him off much.

oh ok, cool. Was gonna say why would they fire him, probably the most valuable piece of their team! and stand up guy.

Wait what happened to Selfess brad?

incredible...Perfect award too.

I would assume they'd be allowed to do it on their own completely disassociated from their orgs and OWL too. Sort of like Hulktastic.

I don't know, I guess I have sort of a unique perspective as I'm pretty tight with some semi-famous musicians and some of them and some of their band mates do/have done similar things and it just feels really predatory. I've known a few musicians who've had their careers essentially ruined over this kinda stuff too. Just feels like people are glossing over a bit too much after a nice PR performance from him.

Speaking of Kephrii, how that just blow over like it ain't no thing? Seemed pretty disgusting to me...

yeah you're right, one took a T2 team in a slump to getting second in Contender Season 0 and the other has been irrelevant since at least December and hasn't had a good showing on any hero since the Genji nerf forever ago. One trick that never adjusted.

posted about 7 years ago

He's a decent hitscan dps player too but I would say contenders worth in that regard. He started his time with Selfess as their DPS and switched to flex when they picked up Sinatraa and Dafran. According to him, he had never played Hog, Winston, or D.Va before the selfless domination began so I think that speaks to his ability and determination to learn heroes and play them at a high level.

posted about 7 years ago

Actually hella bummed, he was the only pro I've ever met in a ranked game.

posted about 7 years ago

I mean liquid went from losing badly and being like barely T2 to winning against every not nV/Rogue NA team and challenging the best almost as soon as they picked up Shadder. Once he got to NA they were destroying...

posted about 7 years ago

I'm assuming they'll be able to cut players (although I assume they are locked into their contracts for the year or whatever the terms were).

posted about 7 years ago

cough shadder cuz he turns 18 in like january

posted about 7 years ago

but when you compare his Genji to Shadders does he? Even Shadders Pharah is better and Shadder plays Junkrat, zarya, Dva, hog and soldier at T1 too. Then you compare Nevix's Pharah to Zza's and there isn't even a comparison.

I think you'll be surprised with the new additions to Seoul...

If I had to power rank them all right now. Now once some of these rosters don't work and they pick up AKM and others, this will change. SF and Houston are both very capable of improving their changes with some slight roster tweaks or teamwork changes. Valiant and Shanghai are both also very capable of choking although I doubt it.

1/2: Dallas and Seoul
3/4: NY and London

  1. Valiant
  2. Shanghai
  3. LAG
  4. Houston
  5. Philly
  6. SF
  7. Florida
  8. Boston

SF is actually insane because the only players on their team that deserve to be there over available free agents are Sinatraa and Dhak and maybe Sleepy. Every other player has a better free agent available.

IDDQD/Babybay - AKM/Buds/
Danteh/Nevix - Shadder/Zza/
Nomy - Knoxxx/FCTFCN/Mesr if you could get him to play again and poach him off coach
Sleepy - roolf/adam/fahzix
Super - tougher but there are some pretty good flex players on there/Gods/Harb/Winz

This roster makes no sense at all.

Once they start offering those loot box, points, or whatever for viewing shit, its over. 1 mil+ viewers.

Special Mercy skin if you watch 4 games a week for the whole season.

posted about 7 years ago

is that not just an embedded twitch player?

posted about 7 years ago

Seeing as they are just photoshop jobs of what the shirts will look like and not actual pictures of real shirts, they probably just forgot it.

posted about 7 years ago

yeah, you gotta imagine that Winz is holding down the morale. Dude is so composed.

posted about 7 years ago

I think AKM's pharah has benefited from Unkoe's much improved Mercy. He was never bad at Mercy but now you can tell he's put in the practice.

posted about 7 years ago

It kinda stinks because I think SK will probably massacre Canada but I really have no idea and I think France will destroy Sweden without a doubt.

posted about 7 years ago

damn still another really good match. That actually might have been closer than USA v SK. France was literally like 2-3 plays from winning multiple maps.

posted about 7 years ago

Nicos genji is nutty and his D.Va has been acceptable but you can see where he lacks compared to Zunba, Mickie, and Coolmatt when he's put to the test.

posted about 7 years ago

wtf is wrong with AKM? dude is playing like a fucking nut... you can literally tell he's like "You don't want me in OWL huh? well fucking watch this."

posted about 7 years ago

but that's not clutching was my point... Clutching is winning a 1 v 3 or something. Capitalizing on a mistake is just doing your job. You should be capitalizing on mistakes.

posted about 7 years ago

because they were fights lost due to mistakes by rogue and not by extraordinary plays by SK. A clutch means you win against the odds and a throw is losing despite the odds.

posted about 7 years ago

Nico made a mistake going around the corner in the tunnel and losing his mech before Knoxxx was there. That lost them point C cause they couldn't ever get the Orisa set up after that.

posted about 7 years ago

well flow3r can't be. He absolutely would be if he was old enough.

posted about 7 years ago

Rogue totally should've won the first map. That was a huge choke.

Predicting the France upset. 3-0

posted about 7 years ago

Agilities is actually nuts at Genji. I really think he deserves more credit than he gets.

posted about 7 years ago

lol he absolutely is... Who is better?

posted about 7 years ago

One thing is absolutely clear after this game...Adam is the best Mercy player in the world. HANDS DOWN. No question.

posted about 7 years ago

Jack from C9 confirmed that players can get picked up mid-season and I think teams will find that some of their hitscan choices are lacking and will reconsider not picking up AKM

and hex and zp casting. Thank god.

whoaaaaa monte with the flag jersey ripping damnnnnnnn

posted about 7 years ago

literally INSANE. Unbelievable. Such a good map. So many amazing moments and plays and so much drama. Holy shit. Monte and Doa doing an awesome job casting it too. fuck that is what Overwatch is about right there. That's what makes it a great game.

posted about 7 years ago

I'm gonna miss the shit out of Rogue... some of the best matches in overwatch history have happened because of Rogue.

posted about 7 years ago

I know we are barely into it but jesus Rogue looks insane...Complete domination...

posted about 7 years ago

What do you guys think?

I LOVE the themed effects and it is definitely easier to identify teams. Everything is much more clear. It doesn't take an Overwatch genius to follow it like it did before in my opinion.

I am a little underwhelmed with the player identifiers though. Still sort of difficult to see ult charges and keep track of what is going on with them when they are off screen. Again, I don't totally have a problem with this as I've played a ton of Overwatch so I'm used to keeping track of these things anyway but for a more casual viewer, I can see where it will be more difficult.

posted about 7 years ago

Assuming all the pieces fit together, I'm not sure where the weaknesses is to be honest. I actually can't find 1 weakness.

posted about 7 years ago

Alright, I thought of something that would really improve competitive queue. So you join a game and you encounter one of those people that just aren't there to win. They are there because to them "overwatch is just a casual shooter and nothing matters and comp queue is just better than QP or Arcade".

What if Blizzard just added an option where you could just delete this persons account. You could just go onto their computer and just uninstall the game right there and it would restart the match with all 12 players being normal competitive players who want to win whatever that takes.

posted about 7 years ago

holy shit, they just erased all the teams with bad graphic design. Just absolutely destroyed them. Savage

posted about 7 years ago

its not zappis anyway. He said hes not in OWL.

EDIT: Holy shit I have some of a nerd star

posted about 7 years ago

Holy shit, its literally just Misfits too. I know not everyone agrees with me on this but Misfits has not looked good despite winning stuff. They're gonna get stomped unless they see some dramatic team dynamic changes. It's obviously not skill holding them back.

I firmly believe every other announced roster except maybe SF will decimate them. Even Boston.
