Hi, I'm the guy that normally sets up the rosters for OWL. Typically i set it up as so:

• Dps
• Dps
• Flex
• Tank
• Supports

Some people switch the tank and flex, but it's generally that format. I based this off the team pages on the site, though I don't know why I put flex in front of tank, force of habit I guess. Recently I started to have a bit of fun with the rosters (if you see any of the Mayhem games you'll see what I mean) but the main purpose is to make the subs a bit easier to do on our end and the page a bit cleaner to view on your end.

Man, there is a healthy mix of newbies and seasoned vets, we are in a crazy time in OW. That being said I think that eV has chosen some great pickups (buds+Jaru is gonna be interesting), and Kung has an interesting roster in of itself. I'm hoping for an EnVision win here.

Looks like Philly is doing a long term investment with Uni since a lot of these players can't participate for OWL for another 2-3 seasons (4 in ZerG's case). I believe that other academy teams will do the same.

For me, this is kind of Dallas refuel week (pardon the term). They're up against two weaker squads and have the chance to solidify the communication that only picked up in the NYXL game. Tbh, I thought that this was the week to experiment with roster swaps, but we could just see the old Envy core + Seagull for Controll

So all that's left is Yiska and the over.gg peeps. From what I saw, the rosters are solid, but the team name/branding leaves a lot to be desired.

Hyped for the future of contenders, and thankfully it will start early enough in the OWL season for teams to get a decent scope into the talent pool. But the better news, contenders means the return of the prediction games!

Just a quick question/possible suggestion: Are you taking into account the other aspects of forming an OWL roster sans money? (i.e. cohesion, communication, possible burnout due to schedule, branding, fan outreach and interaction, memes, etc.)

We are aware of this mistake and will fix it momentarily.

Note that in the last 5 months we have had Contenders season 0 and 1, APEX, OPC, Premier Series, APAC, and World Cup. Frankly after all that a pause is needed.

I normally go by FrozenGoggles. That nickname was a combination of two nicknames that I had in high school, Iceman (given to me randomly from a camp) and Goggles (I used to wear sports goggles all the time). I changed Iceman -> Frozen cause it sounded better and squished the two together. FrozenJackal (my bn) came cause Goggles couldn't fit.
