NoSmite played in six matches for the Hangzhou Spark last season and another three for their academy team, Bilibili Gaming. His playtime was limited when guxue became the team's full-time starter at main tank following the end of Stage 1.

He is the Eternal's first Korean player not to come from Element Mystic. The Eternal's three other Korean additions--SP9RK1E, Xzi and hanbin--all played for Element Mystic before joining the Overwatch League. They also have two Element Mystic alumni on their coaching staff.

The Eternal now have two main tanks on their roster. NoSmite will compete with BenBest for a starting spot as the team's main tank.

There are now 10 players total on the Eternal roster. They are fielding a mixed roster this season that fields six European players and four Korean players.

The first game of the 2020 Overwatch League season for the Eternal is December 8 against the Toronto Defiant.

oh boy. look, i think nosmite has the potential to be a good player but man... this is a super super weak pickup. especially since benbest isnt that good either, so this team will have a weak main tank no matter what. nosmite needs to go to contenders and prove himself (which i think he can do) before rejoining OWL

Better question would have been, who would you pick then? I can't really think many options for Main Tank as most Main Tanks from Contenders haven't really shined after they got picked up to OWL.

Dominating Contenders (even, if it's Korean) doesn't mean much, if there's only handful of teams that can even compete with you and most of them are not even that good.

it depends, if youre looking for a western main tank you could pickup numlocked who is a british tank player for Team Envy or Tonic who is a Russian player who is on Young and Beautiful and has had some good performances in the world cup. If you are looking for a Korean main tank you could pick up Tizi who the Titans just released, ChangSik from Fusion University, Stand1 from Gladiators Legion, or Panker from Gladiators Legion (since he is on 2-way contract this one is less likely). All of these are far better potions than nosmite

I do agree with some of those names being pretty good choices, but originally I also meant that some of those other Main Tanks are probably taken, but not necessary announced yet by their new team. As there's still surprisingly many teams without official roster announcements.

I don't remember anymore, but was NoSmite free agent or did Paris buy his contract? Like, if there was rumor about Paris wanting to trade for OGE (or was it someone else), but they lost the bid to Gladiators.

Right now the only teams that possibly could be getting new main tanks would be Philly (they could just stick with Sado but who knows), Shanghai, and Rumors of the Titans letting go of Bumper. The only one i could see happening would be ChangSik or Stand1 going to the Dragons which still leaves a large amount of talent open for Paris. both of these tanks are better than nosmite, and nosmite was a free agent

I think it's fair to criticize western based teams (at least that's, what I do) for picking full KR rosters, but this isn't even that bad yet with 4 KR as only as it really doesn't turn into 6 KR players starters and non-KR permabenched. Although it comes more into that those players needs to show to their fans that they actually want to be in that team.

Of course Eternal has these 2 KR players who turn 18 while season 3. So it makes their roster roulette slightly different for first half of the season.
