birdring has spent the last two seasons playing for the London Spitfire. He began the offseason as a free agent when the Spitfire officially announced his departure at the beginning of October.

He won one Overwatch League championship with the Spitfire, doing so in the 2018 season. He played for much of the season--rarely sitting out aside from a stint he spent on the bench while recovering from a wrist injury--and played in every map for the team during the playoffs.

birdring joins a Gladiators team that has split with all three of their DPS players over this offseason. As a result, he is currently the team's only DPS player.

Both the Gladiators and the Spitfire are in the midst of a offseason roster rebuilds. Five players have officially left the Gladiators while three have joined the team. The Spitfire have also split with five players and have added two more.
