Baconjack was a member of the 2017 Flash Wolves roster that took home the title of the first Pacific Championship Season. He played under Chengdu assistant coach Ray while with the team. His last match of competitive Overwatch came in December of 2017 with Flash Wolves. Since then, he has played PlayerUnknown's: Battlegrounds.
Jinmu played DPS alongside Hunters main tank Ameng for Moss Seven Club in both Contenders Seasons 1 and 2. He joined BTRG for the NetEase Esports X Tournament before signing with the Hunters.
YangXiaoLong, like Baconjack, has not played on a professional Overwatch team in 2018. He played DPS for Miraculous Youngster, the team that won the grand final of the 2017 Premier Series. He was teammates with Hunters off-tank Lateyoung and played under Hunters head coach RUI while with Miraculous Youngster. He retired to play PlayerUnknown's: Battlegrounds after MY disbanded.
Notably missing from the roster is silkthread, who was connected with the Hunters in various leaks and rumors. silkthread confirmed in a Twitlonger post that he signed with the Hunters initially but has since worked with the team to terminate his contract so he could retire from Overwatch.

silkthread cited burnout and cultural differences as reasons for his retirement. He is currently still in China and plans on streaming when he returns home before pursuing his education. He has not ruled out returning to Overwatch as someone involved in management after he finishes his education.
All nine of the Hunters' players are Mandarin-speaking. They are the only team in the league with more than two Chinese players.
The next season of the Overwatch League begins February 14.
