The team's announced roster is entirely European, featuring a mix of players from the first Overwatch League season and from Contenders. The DPS line for the team will be SoOn , ShaDowBurn , NiCOgdh and DANYE . They will be supported by Kruise and HyP in the backline. The Parisian frontline will be BenBest , lhcloudy and Finnsi .
The franchise also announced its head coach, daemoN , as well as its general manager, Mex. The Los Angeles Valiant announced they traded away daemoN and SoOn less than a week ago.
SoOn, ShaDowBurn and Finnsi have all been members of Overwatch League teams in the past, although Finnsi never played in an official Overwatch League match. Kruise joins Paris from Contenders North America squad Toronto Esports. While lhcloudy was recently picked up by Mayhem Academy, his last match was with Team Gigantti.
The rest of the lineup comes directly from Contenders Europe. NiCO and HyP played for Contenders Season 2 Europe champions Eagle Gaming. BenBest played for free agent team Young and Beautiful during both Contenders Seasons 1 and 2. DANYE began Contenders Season 2 with the Copenhagen Flames but left the organization near the beginning of the season.
The announcement seemed to tease a still unnamed player on the roster, as a faceless player with no alias was depicted on the left side of the team's announcement image. The currently announced roster currently includes only one flex tank, one main support and one flex support.
The Paris franchise is the first Overwatch League expansion franchise to meet the league roster minimum of eight signed players. No other expansion franchise has more than one officially announced player.
