RUI joined the Dragons after their first match in Stage 1 as a highly valued asset from the Miraculous Youngster roster that had many impressive tournament finishes in the Asia-Pacific scene. He is the second head coach of the Dragons to leave the role, with the first vacancy created by U4 back in March.

This is not Kong's first time filling in as the team's head coach. Prior to RUI's arrival, Kong served as the team's head coach following U4's firing.
