Void was a member of the original Kongdoo Panthera roster that was signed to the London Spitfire, but he was unable to work out a contract with the Overwatch League franchise. He remained in Korea to play on the rebuilt Kongdoo Panthera roster, featuring only himself, wakawaka and Luffy from the squad that finished second in APEX Season 3.
Void's acquisition reunites a tank pairing on a team that has in the past signed pairs of players from the same team. The team's support duo, Shaz and BigGoose anchored the backline together on Team Gigantti before joining the Gladiators while iRemiix and Bischu led the frontline for Kungarna in Contenders Season One 2017. It is likely Void will play alongside Fissure to reestablish the tank core.
The Los Angeles Gladiators now have nine players on their roster. It is unknown when Void will join the team in Los Angeles.
